Dear Dr. Geraghty, Do we know from which of the hierarchies of angels (e.g. principalities, dominations, etc.) our guardian angels come from? Thank you.

Dear Wayne, The Catechism of the Catholic Church is not specific on the point of which choir of angels our guardian angels come from. We can be sure, however, that the are angels and so are very powerful no matter what kind they are. Dr. Geraghty
