the good thief
Question from on 06-18-2007:
hello, i'm confused with what Jesus says to the Good Thief. He says "by the end of today you will be with Me in paradise". Jesus resurrected the third day, so does this mean that he went to heaven and didn't go to "hell" or sheol? thank you and God Bless.

Dear GY,
I do not think you can be so literal in your interpretation about what Christ meant by "today". We know that the thief would end up in heaven. I would not worry about the exact timing because the point is that the good thief got there.
