Question from John on 2/7/2008:  
John McCain doesn't support embryonic stem cell research. He does believe that embryos that are already frozen shouldn't be discarded. They can be used for research because they will be destroyed anyway. Either way they are going to destroyed so the moral question is, is it ok to do research on embryos that are already set to be destroyed?

It is never permissible to destroy an innocent human being including those residing in suspended animation in in vitro fertilization laboratories.

I see no need to argue about what Senator McCain maintains as he has received the full endorsement of pro-abortion groups like Republicans for Choice.
