Buying of Holy Relics

Dear Father, Would it be considered simony to buy a holy relic online, if one's intentions were to prevent sacrilege and donate the relic to a diocese or monastery/convent? I'm sure that many of these holy relics available for purchase online are used sacriligiously by those of contrary faiths. Thank you and God bless you!
