McCain on abortion
Question from marie on 4/29/2008:

Judie, here is very interesting news piece on clarifying McCain's position on abortion. (Interesting also to note that Planned Parenthood has rated him "0." I think (and hope) this would be helpful to your readers in evaluating presidential candidates.

Dear Marie

This report from RNCLIFE might be of interest as well:

McCain Campaign Appoints Liberal Republican as RNC Liaison Last week, syndicated columnist Robert Novak, in an article entitled "McCain’s Mistake" for Human Events, reported that "the McCain team that is taking over the Republican Party has decided on Bobbie Greene Kilberg, a liberal Republican from Virginia long detested by conservatives, to run the party's national convention in St. Paul, Minnesota in August." Since then, Jonathan Martin, who writes for Politico.com, reported that a McCain aide said that Kilberg will not be running the convention but is the McCain campaign's liaison to the RNC.

Bobbie Kilberg served as director of public liaison in the Bush 41 White House. As a well-known political operative in Fairfax County, Virginia, her liberal views were well known. If Bobbie Kilberg's role in the convention process relates in any way to the development of the Platform, that would give rise to serious concerns among pro-life and pro-family conservatives.

The question arises: Has John McCain appointed any pro-life, pro-family conservative leaders to high level positions in his campaign or the convention?
