Is there canon law that proscribes procedures for when people claim to see supernatural events? Is there procedures other than canon law?

All matters of church law is canon law, even if certain matters are not contained in the Code of Canon Law.

Any person may have unique spiritual experiences. There is no requirement that the Church give approval, unless the person having the experience wants to spread the messages or devotion to others. Such situations start with notification of the local bishop
