Flight to Egypt

Dear Father, isn't Revelation 12:6 an indication of the time the Holy Family spent in Egypt?

She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. 5 Her child was caught up to God and his throne. 6 The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days. 6 7

It could have a reference to this past event but its greatest significance would be to the present and future, that is, the Woman represents the Church of now until the end of time, which Satan seeks to assault and destroy, having failed to destroy Christ Himself. Of course, at the end of time, Satan and all demons will be defeated and eternally in hell, with the damned of humanity.
