Question from Mickey Mouse on 3/14/2008:
St.Francis and others suffered on purpose to help save souls. I understand that but, what I don't understand is how they liked it. They relished it. Why don't I feel that way? Am I doing it wrong? I keep my offerings of suffering to myself and only reveal them to Him and a few priest in confession. I feel selfish in wanting to "like it" as St.Francis and others did. What's wrong with me? Any thooughts?

Dear Mickey,
There is nothing wrong with you. You are just being human. And most humans are a long way from being in the same class as St. Francis. So keep plodding along your way, which is the ordinary way.
