Question from nicole on 12/20/2007: 
did the church provided "the golden compass" movie? if so, i would like to know why, everybody is saying something different about it, some said that the chuch attacted the movie, others said that the church didn´t provided it, just informed the parents the effect that could cause to their children. i´m catholic and i want to give real information, cause the fanathics says everything is wrong and the noncatholics says it´s ok. please help me!

Dear Nicole,
Almost all Christian critics say that, since the movie is inspired by a desire to teach atheism to children, the movie is no good for children. The public seems to agree because the movie bombed at the box office.
