Receiving communion

Can you receive Communion if you vote pro-choice when there is a pro life candidate? I belive you cannot because how can you receive LIFE(the Eucharist) when you vote for death.

Frank, Most Catholics as you describe in your post are ignorant of the finer points of politics held by their politicians. Even if asked about specifics (abortion position), most of them would plea honest ignorance. I get things like this, I vote the straight ticket, my Dad did the same, and his Day likewise.
