Question from Anonymous on 4/9/2008:
What can you tell me about the Virgen del Pozo (Virgin of the Well) apparition in Puerto Rico? I heard the apparition was unapproved by the bishops there and that the orders established as a result of this apparition (Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote and Hermanas Misioneras de la Restitucion) are to be avoided, or somthing of the like. The thing is, my parish priests belong to the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote. They're great people, but all this these claims (true or not) are bothering me.
This relevant spanish Q & A says to get away immedietley from these people (Hermanas Misioneras de la Restitucion)

Any advice?
Answer by Fr. Jay Toborowsky on 4/14/2008:
I don't know anything about it. Sorry.
Correct that this apparition has not been approved, however it has NOT been UNAPPROVED. If you research correctly, only three apparitions have been approved by the Pope which are Fatima, Lourdes, and Guadulpe. Why is it that we still here about the Virgen of Medjugorje? Or the Virgen of San Juan de Lagos? If an apparition brings you closer to God and leads you back to our Father then what is wrong with it? Anywhere where the Mother of Jesus appears she will ask for conversion, penance, sacrifice, prayer. The Virgen del Rosario del Pozo has come because God has sent her to form a generation of True Christians willing to put God as a priority in their life. She did not come for any other reason except that. She didn't come to change our prayers, our traditions or mass procedures, she came to ask for our conversion and to be true apostoles of these times. Sacrifice, penance and prayer is what the Virgen del Rosario del Pozo has come to show me and if it wasn't for Our Lady, I would still be in the rut that I was before, because of her, I was able to find my way back to our Father, our beginning and the true way.
ReplyDeleteThats no true... you can read the official documents and investigetions about this SECT... in total disobedience with the Church in Puerto Rico... the supposly vident is divorced and married again and several criminal charges are against him....

First of all the first comment of july 23 of this year is TRUE if it wasn't of the Virgen del Pozo I wouldn't be as close to God as I am now and she is the intercessor of God like mother she is, she worries about us and wants to protects us, WHAT MOTHER WOULDN'T DO THAT FOR HER CHILDREN? which are all of us. It doesn't matter if there are official documents or not, Her love will never change, the ones who have to change are us to put God as a priority in our lives adn forget the hatred. It is not a "SECT" because a Sect is a group of people, we are all children of God.

The priests, Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote, are in our parish (St. Joseph's, Del Rio, Tx). (2 priests and 2 brothers). They arrived in our parish on June 2006. Their order was founded by Juan Angel Collado, the supposed "vidente" (seer) of the apparition of the Virgen Del Rosario del Pozo. The congregation is based in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. Collado has been ex-communicated from the Catholic Church. But these priests and brothers refer to Collado as their "spiritual leader". THE POPE IS SUPPOSE TO BE THEIR SPIRITUAL LEADER. When they arrived in our parish, they immediately put up a statue of the Virgen del Pozo on the main altar, (putting aside the Virgen de Guadalupe) and began having "Seguimiento" every Tuesday night. These were classes on the apparition of the Virgen del Pozo. The majority of the parisioners fell in love immediately with this devotion. I went to the first two "seguimientos" but did not feel comfortable about it, and didn't go after that.
ReplyDeleteWhen they arrived at our parish, they knew (but we, parishioners, did not know) that this devotion to the Virgen del Pozo was prohibited by the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The first letter (a Decree) was sent by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect,(now Pope Benedict) on September 19, 2002 telling them to abstain from this devotion, and not to induce people in ascetic practices without the expressed authorization of eclesiastical authority and not to propose doctrines that are considered ocult, reserved or confidential. The Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote and the nuns, Hermanas de la Restitucion, continued to be disobedient to the Vatican's Decree by continueing to spread the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo.
On January 19, 2007, a second letter was sent by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith by Archbishop Angelo Amato, SDB, refering them to the Decree in the letter of September 9, 2002; that persons who disobeyed the Decree would be formally warned, and if they continued being disobedient, punishment would be imposed through an extra-judicial decree.
(Copies of these letters, and other church letters, can be found on the internet; go to Yahoo or Google and search for "Virgen del Pozo". Go to "El Engaño tras la Virgen del Pozo" or "La Verdad de la Virgen del Pozo" and you will find that this is a SECT).
Besides these two letters, on March 2, 2007, the Archbishop of the Archdioces of San Antonio sent a letter to our parish addressed to all the parishioners of St. Joseph, in which he asked the priests Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote not to promote this devotion; not to display statues of the Virgen del Pozo, and "that no meeting, prayer of any other devition related to the Virgen del Pozo may be carried out." (This letter is also on the internet.)
A group of the nuns are at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in San Antonio, TX., and they, too, are spreading their devotion.
To the comment of July 23: First of all, there are 5 apparitions that have been approved, not 3. And Medjugorje and San Juan de los Lagos have not been approved, BUT they have not been PROHIBITED like Virgen del Pozo. And it's nothing against the Virgin Mary, but against this devotion which is a sect.
These priests, brothers and nuns continue being disobedient. They themselves have been brainwashed, that is why they joined this congregation. And now, they in turn, are brainwashing parishioners, and whoever falls for their prohibited practices with their charismatic ways. When the priests arrived in our parish, they immediately formed a group, "Estrellas de Maria" (everything they do is on the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo). Some of the women that belong to this group walk around like zombies. They work almost round the clock, they're at the parish day and night; the priests tell them to leave their children at home and come work at the parish (doing we don't know what), that the Virgen del Pozo will take care of their children!!! The priests' main concern is having as many followers as possible and raising money to send to Mexico to their "Mision", so they say. The men and women in their group have raffles and bingos to raise the money and the priest sends it all to Mexico. It seems that their main objective is: More followers to raise more money.
Why do these priests, brothers and nuns continue being disobedient? Because they are a sect who take their orders from Juan Angel Collado, who tells them they have to work 24/7 to raise money. They have started building a "Ciudad Mistica" in Puerto Rico where they plan to put up a statue of the Virgen del Pozo that will be twice the size of the Statue of Liberty! All this is on the Internet. Construction has already started.
We have nothing against the Virgin Mary, we love our Heavenly Mother with all our heart. It is this particular devotion, which is prohibited by the Vatican, and as Catholics, we have to be obedient to our Church.
We hope and pray that these priests, brothers and nuns will someday open their hearts and accept the truth and be obedient to the Pope, the Catholic Church, and not Collado.
An addition to my comment of August 7, 2008:
ReplyDeleteJuan Angel Collado, the supposed "seer" of the Virgen del Pozo, went into hiding almost a year ago when charges of sexual abuse were filed against him in court by an ex-member of the "Mision". Apparently, only the higher-ups of the sect know his whereabouts.
WORD UP!!!!!!!

Hi I just recently left the seminary in San Antonio and I had a couple of the misioneros de cristo sacerdote in one of my classes, they are really charismatic but at the same time really stange guys, I found out about the secta del pozo online a few months ago, I'd like to know how many of the priests and brothers and nuns there are in the del rio and san antonio area? and where do the people that want to be a part of these groups go to be formed, I would assume all of the new members first go to parral right? I had fr. G and fr. D and Br. L in my class at o.s.t they said that they wanted to learn better english. How many of them are there in total and where else does the sect have priests and brothers?
ReplyDeleteps. they are really young because they get ordained earlier than the POPE says is allowed, but the bishop of Parral does it anyway.
You may direct your query to this link http://www.ewtn.com/vexperts/conference.htm. Just copy and paste into the address bar. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe priests, Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote, left Del Rio's St. Joseph's Parish on September 3, 2008. Yes, they are very charismatic and that is how they win people over and get them to join their sect. We understand that the nuns of the same sect, Hermanas de la Restitucion, have left San Antonio. There were 4 nuns in one of the parishes in San Antonio. Two had left and the other two were waiting to sell their house in San Antonio before returning to Mexico.
ReplyDeleteSt. Joseph's parish in Del Rio was left scarred by the division among the parisioners created by the priests. As soon as they arrived at St. Joseph's, the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote formed their group "Estrellas de Maria" (a group extremely devoted to the devotion of the Virgen del Pozo) and their favoritism toward this group was very obvious. They worked 24/7 with the group and the group did everything they were told by these priests.
We thank God that they are no longer at St. Joseph's and pray that this cult-like devotion eventually ends although it is going to be difficult because the followers of the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo have been brainwashed by the Misioners de Cristo Sacerdote. This group will continue spreading the devotion, so they say, regardless of what the Vatican says in it's official documents: that the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo should not continue (2006 Decree).
Please pray for St. Joseph's parish.
Thank you.
Do you know where the MCS's went? Have you heard anything about where they might show up next? I am in New Mexico now and I hope that they never come here. What were the names of the priests and brothers that were there?
ReplyDeletewhich priests were these? Here in El Paso there is a new group of priests and brothers, they are heavily into the rosary and are very young, they wear a white habit with a brown scapular and always have a rosary in their hands. I met a few of them on Monday they are planning on building a monestary near mount cristo rey, so far there are twelve of them here, 4 are priests and the rest are brothers. Are these the same priests and brothers that are to be avoided?, they also have five nuns across the border in ciudad juarez, they captivated me with their humbleness and sincerity, but something seems a little strange, they pray the rosary a little bit differently than what i was taught, and often mention a virgin de poza, what is a virgin de poza? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Can You tell me where ara these priest at El Paso Tx? I think they are the same MCS , and be careful, look what they said happened at Del Rio Tx.
ReplyDeleteThe misioneros de cristo sacerdote that are in El paso texas are, hno Carlos, hno Luis, hno Esteban, hno Rafael, hno serafino, hno Lucas, hno cristobal, these are the names of the ones that I have met, but there are twelve in total in El Paso. Four priests and the rest are brothers, one of the Priests is P. Jaime de La Cruz, he is the newest MCS priest. They have already started a youth group and have found three new promulgadores, also hno enoc maria will be moving to el paso sometime after january, p. Amado has decided to use hno enoc's gifts of language in El Paso. I have found this out bit by bit.
ReplyDeleteHola, Tengo nueva informacion!
ReplyDeleteIn response to Anonymous of Sept. 24, 2008, if the priests and brothers in El Paso wear a white habit with brown piece of cloth (apron-like) the same length as the white habit (front and back), they are the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote. They always have a brown wooden rosay in their hand. The nuns are called Hermanas de la Restitucion, and they wear the same habit, plus their head cover in white. They all seem very humble and sincere, but please be careful and do not get involved with them. They are a sect. They were in Del Rio, TX for 2 years but thank God they are now gone. They have 2 objectives: brainwash people with their devotion to the Virgen del Pozo and have those people working 24/7 raising money for them. Their followers in Del Rio are called Estrellas de Maria, and you can see that they are brainwashed. This group continues very strongly with the devotion in their homes. They are prohibited from having anything to do with the devotion in St. Joseph's Parish in Del Rio. They are told that at the "end of time" THEY are the ones that the Virgen del Pozo will come and take them to heaven because they are the only ones that will be saved.
ReplyDeleteYou can Google "Virgen del Pozo" or "Virgen of the Well" and find all the information you need.

ReplyDeleteI have seen them walking near Isleta and also near Sunland, I have seen pictures of the MCS and from what i have seen, i can say that without a doubt the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote are in the El Paso area. I have thought about their reasons for coming to El Paso and i have come to the conclusion that they have come to brainwash the people who live in all of the little farming communities between El Paso and Las Cruces. I have read that the "mision" is wanting to recruit alot more members and where else would it be easier to get those members than in the small towns and villages, where the people are easily manipulated by "padrecitos and monjitas".
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote in El Paso are assigned or working in a particular parish? Which parish? Or are they just on their own? One of the previous comments mentioned that they plan to build a monastery on mount cristo rey. Please be careful, do not get involved with their sect. Their objectives are to brainwash people and have them working 24/7 raising money for them. In St. Joseph's Parish, Del Rio, all the money was given to Fr. Gabriel to send to Mexico. He claimed that it was to help the poor, but we doubt that very much because Juan Angel Collado, their "spiritual leader", according to what's on the internet, wants them working 24/7 raising money. At St. Joseph's the MCS never did a thing for the parish. All the money they and their groups raised through bingos, selling of cheeses, Mexican candy, etc., it all was given to Fr. Gabriel. When they left St. Joseph, the financial situation was at an all time low, and they also created division among the parishioners like never before seen. Again, please be careful and do not allow them to brainwash you. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM, THEY'RE A DESTRUCTIVE SECT!
From what I have heard about the misioneros de cristo sacerdote in El Paso, They have not yet petitioned the diocese to have a parish entrusted to them. The approach that they are using in El Paso is to get under the radar of the diocese and straight to the people and their money,I was told that they have figured out that all they need is more followers and more money and not diocesan participation, I know that they already have a very strong youth group in Ciudad Juarez, where the HMR sisters have a convent. The "mision" is desperate to find fresh, recruits who have not yet heard about the Del Rio incident. They, "the MCS", are looking for land to establish a new motherhouse and monastery , currently the MCS are living across the border in Ciudad Juarez and travel into the El Paso area daily to find supporters of the mision. The eventual goal of the misioneros de cristo sacerdote in the Juarez - El Paso area is to be able to afford a parcel of land near mount cristo rey, the land that they are interested in is owned by the CEMEX cement company, and is in a very isolated area, they plan to be able to have room for twenty four MCS brothers and priests as well as for a pretty large shrine to the Virgen del pozo, and meeting space for holding convivencias and the "promesa Ceremony". Currently there are twelve MCS members in the area with a 13th member arriving sometime in january, This 13th MCS brother will be Hno. Enoc Maria de La Fe. Hno Enoc Maria is currently studying at the pontifical college in Rome. This brother is a major threat to the catholic church in the El Paso area, he is fluent in four languages and is a "specialist in apologetics" in other words he will be the primary brainwasher for the "mision" in this area, I am in contact with someone deeply inside the OMR so all of this is brand new news.

ReplyDeleteRegarding all the information on the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote by Anonymous on Oct. 8th, that the MCS are not in a parish in El Paso but rather are working on their own recruiting new members, "getting under the radar of the diocese" - this sounds like something they would do. They know how to brainwash and manipulate people, and have them working all hours of the day and night raising money for them. Hopefully, some of the persons from the El Paso area that have sent in comments and that know that this is a destructive sect, will warn the persons that start getting involved with the MCS. Also, we belive that the Archbishop for the El Paso Archdiocese should be informed of all this so that what happened in Del Rio (San Antonio Archdiocese) does not happen in El Paso.
ReplyDeleteThe reason the MCS left St. Joseph's in Del Rio because the Archbishop of the San Antonio Archdiocese received many complaints of what the MCS were doing, first of all promoting the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo which is not approved by the Vatican. The MCS and their "leaders" have been told not to promote the devotion, yet they continue being disobedient, it's just like they don't care. Their goal is to lure people as members of their group (promulgadores) to raise MONEY for them.
The Archbishop from San Antonio went to Del Rio and held a meeting with parisioners (both pro and con on their devotion) and told them that he talked to Fr. Gabriel and that Fr. Gabriel chose to leave rather than not practice their devotion to the Virgen del Pozo in the Archdioces of San Antonio. Of course, because that's how they attract new members.
Like one comment earlier said: it's not that we are against the devotion to the Virgin Mary, we love the Virgin Mary with all our heart, but it's this particular devotion to the "Virgen del Pozo" which is not approved by the Vatican. We have to be obedient Catholics on what the Vatican mandates.
This is my first time writing on this blog. I live in Parral Chihuahua. The misioneros de cristo sacerdote used to live in a huge mansion near where my father in law lives, We would see the brothers and priests walking all around the area at all hours of the day and sometimes at night you could hear them chanting from behind the walls of the compound. I have heard stories of them having strange rituals there. The young men who were just starting the process to be MCS, used to have to sell things on the sides of the road and go from house to house with a statue of the vdp. About a month ago the house went silent almost like everybody left, we no longer see the mcs walking around and the house now looks abandoned, I am wondering if all of these people are now in Juarez waiting to come to the United States. Young men used to show up in Parral all the time to enter the MCS, the most MCS that i have seen at one time was, late last fall, when all of them came to town for some sort of ritual at this house. I believe i counted thirty MCS priests and brothers. Most of the Mcs are really really young, they look strange in their white and brown habits and little rosaries in their hands, the rumor is that they have to have a rosary in their hands 24hrs a day or be punished. It was definetly noticeable when they all left.
We need to be humble!
We need to understand that God ask for
a realy an autentical life of conversion.
We really are living that kind of changes!!!
Do You really not realize what´s going on?
Tiempos.... Habrá ....... Que dilucidar!!!
I figured it would be just a matter of time until, a brainwashed supporter of the "mision" decided to write something on this blog, thats ok though, now we have an example of the kind of confused and illogical ideas these people really have. The website that the above person is talking about, is the official website of the sect, it is full of lies and misinformation, Please do not be fooled.
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious that Anonymous of Oct. 10th is a supporter or member of the sect of MCS. You can tell how brainwashed he or she is just by the style and choice of words. The website mentioned is the official website of the MCS - but please be careful. It is full of lies as to their main objective, which is to brainwash people to raise money for them. The members or "promulgadores" of the Virgen del Pozo in Del Rio were forbidden by the MCS to see what's on the Internet about the Virgen del Pozo and the MCS because all of it is false. AND THEY BELIEVED THE MCS.
Hi, I live in Vinton Texas, which is near El Paso. I have always been a good catholic and am pretty familiar with the religious orders around this area, however Sunday afternoon I heard a knock at my door, when I opened it there were four extremely young (20 ish) religious brothers standing there. They asked if they could come in and I said sure, one of them Brother Luis, started by asking me if I prayed the rosary and I replied that I do, then two of the other brothers took turns reading scripture, we talked for about half an hour, they told me that they are a new religious order called the Hermanos de la Restitucion, and that they are from Mexico, I noticed that they were all hispanic, and that one of the four spoke with an almost cuban accent. they were wearing a white habit with a brown scapular and they all had wooden rosaries in their hands, They told me that they planned to establish a monastery in El Paso within the next year or so. I have never heard of this group of religious before and I have never seen their habit in this area before, I have been feeling really strange since they visited me, they seemed so polite and good natured, since then i have been reading everything i can searching to foind out what they are all about, that is what led me to this blog. I now know that they are a sect and that they are in the area to find more people to work for them, I was lucky that I am still young enough to question them, HOWEVER OLDER PEOPLE need to BE VERY CAREFUL, not to get tricked.
With all that's happening here in El Paso and the surrounding areas with the MCS, which is a sect that everyone should avoid, I believe that we should contact the Archbishop's office, by letter, phone calls, etc., and tell him what this group, which is a destructive sect, is doing and that we don't want what happened in Del Rio to happen in El Paso. Something needs to be done. Comments??
Comentarios??
I have called the bishops office and the lady on the phone told me that, the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote have been given permission to conduct business in the El Paso area, she went on to say that the bishop has spoken to the misioneros de cristo sacerdote and due to their "marian" nature has given them the task of promoting the rosary in the diocese of El Paso. The sect is in the process of being given charge of a parish in the diocese, which parish is yet to be determined. I am totally at a loss for words,I thought that I would alert the diocese but apparently they already know. The MCS are lieing to the bishop and the people of the El Paso area. apperently the bishop of El Paso is now just like the bishop of Parral.
ReplyDeleteI'm also at a loss for words, being that the lady at the Bishop's office said that the MCS have been given permission to "conduct business" in the El Paso area. The nature of their business is presenting themselves as being very humble and sincere and "pobrecitos", while at the same time lying, and brainwashing people and having the people work 24/7 to raise money for their "mision". It's incredible how so many people, including the Bishop, can fall in their trap.
ReplyDeleteThe MCS's "marian" nature is promoting a devotion (Virgen del Pozo) which has been PROHIBITED BY THE VATICAN!!! Doesn't the Bishop know this? The rosary the MCS pray is the rosary to the Virgen del Pozo which contains prayers exclusively to the Virgen del Pozo (which is prohibited). And now that the MCS will be assigned a parish, believe me, this is very dangerous for our Catholic Church because the MCS are a dangerous sect. This will be Del Rio all over again, but in El Paso.
I strongly suggest that even though the lady at the bishop's office said the MCS have been given permission by the Bishop, we should ALL continue calling the Bishop's office and tell him that we do not want them in El Paso because of what happened in Del Rio, and tell the Bishop (and the secretary) to look in the Internet to find out for themselves what a dangerous sect they are. We should continue calling until the Bishop takes some action. I have contacts in Del Rio and this is what the parishioners at St. Joseph's did - they called and called until the Archbishop took action and the MCS left St. Joseph's in Del Rio.
God help us all, and I pray that the MCS will one day be inspired by the Holy Spirit and realize that they are being disobedient to the Vatican's decrees - that their spiritual leader is the HOLY FATHER and not Juan Angel Collado, whom they call their "spiritual leader" and who has been in hiding since sexual assault charges were filed against him in court over a year ago. These charges were filed by an ex-member of the sect.
People/parishioners of the El Paso area, let's all call the Bishop's office so that our parishes are not contaminated by this sect. And tell the Bishop to call the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of San Antonio to get information on the MCS. Actually, I believe that the VATICAN should be informed of what the MCS are doing in spite of the fact that the Vatican's Decree of Jan. 2007 forbade the devotion of the Virgen del Pozo. The reason the MCS do not obey the Vatican is because they take their orders from Juan Angel Collado. This man founded their "order" (they are not an order but an organization) on the devotion of the Virgen del Pozo. I could go on and on, but all this info is on the internet.
God bless us all and protect us.
I cannot believe that the bishop was so easily manipulated by the MCS, the same thing happened with the bishop of Parral Chih, I guess now the MCS have two bishops to work through and ordain them. The MCS tell the bishops that they are a "marian" religious order from mexico and it works every time, it took over a year for the bishop of san antonio to realize what was going on in del rio, lets just hope that it doesnt take that long here in El Paso.

The MCS tell the bishops that they are a "marian" religious order from mexico and it works every time, it took over a year for the bishop of san antonio to realize what was going on in del rio, lets just hope that it doesnt take that long here in El Paso.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the MCS have been assigned a parish here in El Paso yet? Maybe the person who posted a comment on Oct. 8th talking about how Hno. Enoc Maria de la Fe is a threat to the Catholic Church, and also saying that he knows someone deeply inside the OMR, maybe he has new info. It would be appreciated - this way we can convey all this info to the bishop.
I am the person who posted on Oct 8th, I have been told by my source who is a former MCS seminarian, who is still a promulgador for his own cover, that fr. david and fr. gabriel are now in the mexico city area, they have five new MCS brothers with them and are doing pretty much the same thing that the MCS in the El Paso area are doing "finding new recruits and raising money". fr. elias and fr. jesus maria, are living at the MCS monastery in the mountains of queretaro mexico, this is the infamous "casa de retiros san miguel archangel". this is where the national convention of the Mision is held every year, it is very isolated and members of the mision from all over the world go there to partake in mysterious rituals. fr. melicio and fr. estevan de la plenitud, along with bro. enoc maria and bro. giovanni are still in rome studying at the pontifical colleges, this last group of MCS are the ones that are in charge of trying to infiltrate the vatican and the catholic church and are the ones that are lieing to the cardinals and trying to make the MCS look like any other religious order, they are actually studying at real catholic major seminaries in rome, they are that good at lieing that they got in without any questions! the superior of the MCS, fr. amado del sagrado corazon lives with another MCS priest and an MCS brother in the hills near parral and travels all over checking on the brothers and priests. the HMR nuns have four sisters in Juarez mexico and 12 sisters at the parral convent. My source tells me that there are 35 MCS and 20 HMR sisters, including the sisters and brothers operating under the radar near sabana grande puerto rico. This is very startling news because two years ago their were only 13 MCS in total, the mision is growing!, my source also verified that the MCS mansion in parral is abandoned, my source says that he has heard conflicting stories from several MCS brothers about which church in El Paso will be given to the MCS. the first parish is called "nuestra senor del carmen" and the other is called "mision san elizario". anyway they expect to have control by the middle of the coming year. my source has reminded me to tell everyone that the bishop of el paso does indeed know that the MCS are in his diocese but he is being lied too, he believes that the MCS are a marian lay movement, called the "Hermanos de la Restitucion". we need to be heard! lets all call the bishop and tell him that there is an undercover sect in his diocese waiting to strike!
ReplyDeleteThanks to Anonymous of Oct 8th for the info you posted on Oct 22nd. It's unreal how the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote keep on lying to priests of other congregations, to bishops, archbishops and the Vatican!! This is how their sect works to infiltrate the Catholic Church - their objective being to brainwash people and have them work 24/7 to raise money for their "mision", which we know is controlled by Juan Angel Collado, Mr. Pesquera, and Mr. Mercades.
ReplyDeletePlease keep on posting any new info you may have so that we all can continue calling the bishop's office until he does something to really look into who the MCS really are, a destructive sect. Let's all tell the bishop that we, as Catholics, do not want them in the El Paso area, we do not want another "Del Rio" here, and for him to call Archbishop Gomez in San Antonio to verify everything.
As you all can see, from the comment of Oct 22nd, the MCS are growing in number, and so are the nuns. We need to pray a lot and act on it by calling the bishop's office. We can even tell the secretary that we want an appt with the bishop to talk about this sect. Let's print out what's on the web and take copies to the bishop ---- this is the website:
Go to Yahoo and search "virgen del pozo"; click on the website "La Verdad Sobre el Grupo La Mision". This website has everything from who and what they are, to their money raising ways. The website that has a lot of info regarding the MCS sect and all that they do. As responsible Catholics, we need to act to put a stop to this sect.
Please continue posting any new info you get from your contact. God bless you.
hello, I am wanting to add some information about the misioneros de cristo sacerdote, the twelve members of the MCS that are in the el paso- juarez area, have been seen going door to door in the la mesa, san miguel area near las cruces. I live in la union new mexico, and was told by a friend that lives in la mesa that two groups of young monks from mexico have been talking to people in this area, she described their habit as white wih a brown scapular and a leather belt and she mentioned that they each had a rosary between their fingers, she told me that they are inviting people to attend prayer meetings at a home in el paso. My guess is that this home is probably the home of a new promulgador or maybe it might be a temporary MCS house. my friend also mentioned that the vehicles that they have been seen driving have juarez mexico license plates and that she has been told that a few of the MCS speak with a cuban or puerto rican accent. just thought that i would share what my friend has told me.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have any new information as to the plans or activities of the MCS and Hermanos de la Restitucion in El Paso? In Del Rio, the news is that the MCS and Hermanos will be here on Nov. 19 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. We don't understand why the priest from Guadalupe Church allowed them to come after all the damage the MCS caused at St. Joseph's parish. The reason for their coming is that Bro. Luis and Bro. Carlos will be ordained (either for deacon or priest, don't know which; the case is that they are ordained priests very, very fast-one wonders if they are really priests). The only reason they are coming to Del Rio is for "money", cause they found a "gold mine" here. Their followers (Estrellas de Maria) and the elderly who don't know what's really happening, will give them their "gift" of money. Their coming back to Del Rio, even for a few days, is like they are mocking St. Joseph's parish. They continue being disobedient to the Vatican's decrees, together with their brainwashed group that they left at St. Joseph's. The MCS are a big threat to the Catholic Church - they say that the Church is in "error" and they want to re-organize it. They also want to have one of their own MCS as Pope! This info comes from testimonies of ex-members of the "Mision" and is all on the web.
ReplyDeleteWe need to continue praying so that what the MCS are doing will stop.
The hermanos de la restitucion are flourishing here in the el paso and juarez area. It is true that they will be in del rio on the 19th along with some of the nuns from juarez. Br. carlos and br. luis will be ordained deacons, the mcs do not follow the vatican age guidelines for ordination, so they are still too young to be validly ordained but the bishop will still ordain them, just like he ordained fr. gabriel three years too early and fr. david four years too early. My contact inside the OMR also has told me that the church in el paso where they will be living and working is "mision san elizario". this has been confirmed by fr. amado. The mcs in el paso have eight new promulgadores working day and night for them and about twenty "aspirantes" to the MCS "order". most of the aspirantes are young men from juarez. They are having seguimiento meetings at a house in el paso and also have charlas at this same house. there are at least five statues of the VDP being passed around in el paso. My contact has also told me that br. enoc will be arriving early from rome, he will be in el paso by mid december. For thos that do not know who br. enoc maria de la fe is, he is the MCS brother who has been educated in rome for the sole purpose of infiltrating the catholic church, he is attending the pontificial gregorian college and is getting his licenture in apologetics and catholic doctrine, basically he knows everything there is to know about the church and will now be able to twist and manipulate the truth in order to recruit more followers. he is a major threat to the church in el paso and juarez, just google hermano enoc maria de la fe and you will see his myspace page. the big monestary project is moving along nicely, the money is really rolling in, the mcs are now starting to work their way into new mexico. they have been seen in la union and chamberino going door to door. the twelve mcs are now living in colonia san rafael in juarez, their house is rather large and is about three blocks from the nuns convent, they are still commuting to el paso every day. i will post more info when i have more.
ReplyDeleteI am just curious about something? If these two mcs brothers are going to be ordained, who will be doing the ordaining? I mean its definetly not going to be archbishop Gomez or any of his associates. I am assuming that the bishop of parral will be there, since he has always been the one to ordain for the mcs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Comment of Nov. 14th. We can see that the MCS have no intention of stopping their brainwashing and money raising ways in order to gain control of the Catholic Church. Please continue posting any new info you receive.
ReplyDeleteAs we all know, the MCS are a serious threat to the Catholic Church and something needs to be done to stop this dangerous and destructive sect. If the Bishop of El Paso and the Archbishop of San Antonio do not act responsibly to stop the MCS, then we, as responsible and faithful Catholics, should write to the Vatican and send copies of some of these comments, especially the comments that have information coming from the source inside the mision.
Please post your comments and let all of us know your thoughts on this. We have to continue praying for this sect to dissolve.
The Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote, who we know brainwash those who believe them, waste no time in settleing in other parishes by lying, this time in El Paso and now going into New Mexico. They don't care who they lie to, as long as they get what they want. And they got assigned to a parish in El Paso, just as they wanted. They do have a charisma for fooling people, and making them believe everything they say. I am sure that Fr. Amado NEVER mentioned to the bishop of El Paso that their organization is founded on the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo and that they "practice" this devotion to no end -- just like he NEVER mentioned it to Archbishop Jose Gomez from San Antonio when he (Fr. Amado) went before the Archbishop to offer their "services" in the archdiocese. According to Archbishop Gomez at the meeting with parishioners at St. Joseph's in Del Rio in Aug., Fr. Amado just told him (the Archbishop) that they were "Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote", and that they never mentioned their devotion to the Virgen del Pozo.
ReplyDeleteThe MCS and the Hermanos are not shy at all about asking for money, always saying that the people in their town in Mexico are so poor or that they need money to repair their "convento". The truth is that all the money is sent to Mexico for their "mision". The leadership of the "mision" is like a pyramid - it has the leader, Juan Angel Collado (who is in hiding because he has been accused in court of sexual abuse), then below him is a Dr. Pesquera and Sr. Mercader. Below them are the 7 "columnas". Fr. Gabriel Maria de la Santa Cruz (who was in Del Rio) and Fr. Amado, the superior, are columnas. And below the columnas are the "promulgadores". Maybe the person with the Comments of Nov 14th can get info on who the other columnas are.
I agree that something needs to be done to stop this dangerous and destructive sect. Maybe if we all send letters to the Vatican since the bishops and archbishops don't seem to be taking any action.
To see pictures of an MCS brother receiving his habit, and to see pictures of quite a few MCS members at this ceremony, which by the way is not valid, go to GOOGLE and look up Hermano Enoc Maria De La Fe, click on his myspace page and look at some of the pics of the MCS in Rome. This MCS brother is the one who was chosen by the MCS to go undercover as a seminary student in Rome, he is attending the pontifical gregorian college and will soon be moving to El Paso. He clearly states his intentions in the first paragraph of his myspace page. Also look at how young some of the MCS brothers who are assisting at his habit ceremony are. they are easily recognizable because they all have a rosary in their hands. assisting at this mass are: father gabriel, deacon felipe, father elias charbel, and brother carlos, and father jesus maria, as well as others who i do not recognize.
ReplyDeleteWhat is so dangerous, destructive and threatening about this group? No, I am not a MCS follower or anything like that, but everyone seems to have such harsh words about them. They love Jesus and the Blessed Mother; they seem to be missionaries trying to spread the word of the Lord; it just so happens that right now they also believe in an apparition that has not been proven by the Vatican yet. What words would be said about them if someday, somehow the apparition ended up being for real or proven. All this is very confusing and it seems like there shouldn't be so much judgement and dislike. I pray for peace amongst all of us Catholics.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that makes the MCS dangerous, destructive and threatening is that they brainwash people into believing everything they say. To begin with, they are disobedient to the Vatican's Decrees that say they should NOT CONTINUE with their devotion because all the documents they have submitted regarding the supposed apparition do not prove that an apparition took place. As faithful Catholics, we should ALL obey our Holy Father. The MCS also say that the Catholic Church is in error in its teachings and that THEY are the ones that are correct; they also want to elect a Pope from their own sect.
ReplyDeleteTo the person that posed the comment of Nov. 18th, go to yahoo or google and search "virgen del pozo". Two sites come up: one is "la verdad sobre la mision" and the other is "el engaño de la mision". You will find out just how dangerous, manipulative and destructive they are.
God help us all and we pray that the MCS will one day soon accept the fact that what they are doing is very wrong.
To the poster who does not understand why such hard words are used to describe the MCS, I would say this: The MCS are going against many vatican regulations, they use torture and self mutilation, they brainwash unsuspecting people for their own gain, they destroy families, they take away peoples money, they lie, cheat and steal, they are not recognized by the vatican, their seminarians study over the internet, they never take the religious vows. The MCS almost destroyed the town of Del Rio Texas, by putting people against each other. THE MCS ARE VERY DANGEROUS
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the comment of Nov 19th who explains why such hard words are used to describe the MCS. The MCS are everything the person says plus more!!!
ReplyDeleteBefore the MCS left St. Joseph's parish in Del Rio, on the last weekend of August, Fr. Gabriel took it upon himself that the 2nd collection taken up at all 5 Masses for St. Vincent de Paul was for them, and THEY TOOK THE MONEY. THIS COMES UNDER STEALING. That collection is SUPPOSE TO BE FOR THE NEEDY AND THE MCS ARE FAR FROM NEEDY. So in Sept., St. Joseph's had to have TWO collections for St. Vincent de Paul to make up for the one the MCS took. The MCS do not care who they take money from, as long as they get it.
They created a lot of division and animosity among the parishioners at St. Joseph's, because their group, "Estrellas de Maria" made it known that they were the "preferred" group of the MCS (and they were), and it was true (and it still is) because you could see how the Fr. Gabriel, Fr. David, Fr. Pio (who came toward the end of their stay in Del Rio) and the Brothers would treat their "select" group with such "love", and the rest of us sometimes did not even get a simple "hello" from the MCS. The reason the MCS treated their group with such "love" was because the group is brainwashed to do anything that is asked of them by the MCS, including having bingos, raffles, and many activities to raise moeny for them. The 2 years that the MCS were at St. Joseph, they NEVER did anything to raise money for the PARISH; all the money they raised was for them and Fr. Gabriel sent it all to Mexico or Puerto Rico. Since a lot of people were "hit" with buying loteria tickets, raffle tickets, etc., they thought they had already helped the parish, and they would not give much in the collections on Sundays. A lot of them, at the time, did not know that
Fr. Gabriel was sending all that money to Mexico.
Even though the MCS are not here anymore, Fr. Gabriel and the rest of the MCS still constantly "manage and instruct" their group by phone. There are some highly educated people that belong to the "Estrellas de Maria", I mean people with Bachelor's, Master's and PHD's, but I guess education does not matter if you allow yourself to be brainwashed!!
Today, Wed. Nov. 19th, at 7pm, Bros. Carlos and Luis will receive their vows as deacons at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church here in Del Rio. (Are the MCS REALLY priests?? The bishop from Parral who ordains them should investigate them - before he continues to do whatever the MCS tell him). We cannot understand why the priest from Guadalupe allowed them to come to his parish, I guess Fr. Gabriel convinced him (and the MCS are good at that). This is in direct DISOBEDIENCE to the Vatican and to the Archdiocese. Their coming back to Del Rio is a slap in the face to St. Joseph's parish. It would take more than a dozen pages to write about all the harm they caused at St. Joseph's, but as you all can see, THE MCS ARE VERY DANGEROUS!!! I am in complete agreement that something needs to be done to stop this destructive sect, even if it means writing to the Vatican.
Hello, today I passed by the san elizario mission and there were two MCS priests standing in the parking lot talking, they were in full MCS habit, it totally freaked me out, I have never actually seen the MCS in real life and now I can say that I have. They were just standing there talking as if nothing was wrong, One of them was tall I wanna say about 6 feet tall, ive seen his picture on one of the websites before and the other one was about 5'7 ish and a little on the chubby side, ive also seen his picture on one of the websites, neither of them was part of the del rio group. I have a question for anyone that can answer it, why do only some of the MCS wear the little brown cape like thing and not others, I am guessing that only the priests wear this and not the brothers? The thing that I am talking about is not the brown scapular but a brown piece of cloth that is like a cape or cowl.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know if it was true that the MCS were in Del Rio on November 19th? just wanted to ask if anybody saw them,I am very curious about the MCS and how their whole system works, do promulgadores have to be picked to be MCS or can any promulgador become an MCS ? also where is the formation house where promulgadores go to become MCS? what are the steps to become an MCS and how long does it take to receive the habit? I am totally against what they do but I am interested in how the process works.
ReplyDeleteLast night (Wed. Nov 19th) Bros. Luis and Carlos were "ordained" deacons at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Del Rio. A friend of mine attended the Mass and gave me a booklet that they distributed to the people to follow the Mass. The bishop from Parral did not come. There were 4 MCS priests and the 2 brothers. ONE OF THE THEIR PRIESTS PERFORMED THE "ORDINATION". Since when can a priest ordain??? The person who posted the comment on Nov. 14th is right -- the MCS do not follow the Vatican guidelines, they create their own. I believe that only bishops and archbishops can ordain, therefore, this was not a valid ordination. As someone previously mentioned, the MCS and brothers only came to Del Rio for the "MONEY". My friend tells me that the ceremony was very "dull" and confusing at times, the confusion was also noticed during Mass, as if the priests did not know what followed next. This does not surprise me. We're sure they'll stay here an extra day or two to see how much more money they can get out of the people here.
ReplyDeleteGod bless us and help us all, and may He make the MCS see the light one day.
The "ordination" of these two brothers by a priest is totally invalid, only bishops and archbishops can ordain people, do you know which MCS priests were there? and which one did the actual "ordaining" ? if possible write back with this info. THIS NEEDS TO BE IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO THE ARCHBISHOPS OFFICE, HE HAS MADE IT CLEAR THAT THE MCS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN HIS ARCHDIOCESE EVER AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteHello, I am curious if anybody has all of the names of the MCS priests and brothers, or at least some of them? These are the ones that I have heard often: Fr. amado,Fr. Pio,Fr. elias charbel,Fr. Jesus Maria, Fr. Jose Maria, Fr. Gabriel, Fr. David, Fr. Melecio, Deacon Felipe, Bro. Enoc, Bro. Luis, Bro. Carlos, Bro. Giovanni. There must be alot more and I am curious what they are. Also what is the name of the older looking MCS priest who is in Mexico city? also has anybody seen the MCS videos on youtube?
ReplyDeletehere are the names of three more MCS, Fr. pedro maria mcs, the poster above listed a Deacon felipe , this deacon is now Fr. felipe maria de guadalupe mcs, also there is a Fr. Jaime de la cruz mcs. The last two were not ordained by a bishop, Fr. Amado "ordained" them ( illegal and invalid of course).
ReplyDeleteI have some new information to report, from my source inside the OMR. Yes it is true that the MCS are still communicating with the "Estrellas de Maria group" at St. Josephs church in Del Rio, the MCS are thinking about sending one of their newer priests to San Antonio for an exchange program with the archdiocese, My source tells me that the details are not yet finalized but it will be done "under the radar", just like hno. enoc has done in Rome. The reason behind this is to have an MCS in the diocese to oversee the "estrellas de Maria". The MCS in El Paso are doing extremely well in their fundraising efforts. They are still living in Juarez and the columnas are very happy with their success in the area. They are moving the statues of the vdp around from house to house and still are inviting people to talks about the mision in El Paso. The HMR sisters in juarez have accepted three new young women from El Paso to begin their training. Two of these young women were students at UTEP, where a statue of the vdp has been circulating. There are still about 20 young men who are in the process of joining the MCS, however they cannot until the monestary project is complete, that is what they have been told, so they are working day and night to raise money.Fr. amado was in the El Paso area about a week ago to meet with these young men. The MCS in Mexico City are running the new house of formation for young men in the second stage of becoming MCS, their are currently five young men at this stage, they stay in mexico city for three years and then receive the habit. this is what was done at the old MCS mansion in Parral before it was abandoned. My source has told me that the process to become an MCS has been shortened from 7 years to 6 years. two years at a local MCS house and three years at the Mexico city house followed by one year at the MCS Monastery in the mountains of Queretaro Mexico. Those that are chosen to become priests study theology online or attend the Chihuahua seminary and then they are "ordained" deacons, the bishop of Parral was the person ordaining them, however Fr. Amado has decided that as superior he can "ordain" his own priests, my source inside the OMR has said that the brothers are so brainwashed at this point, they do not even notice that they are not being validly ordained. My source tells me that the deacons ordained recently were only told about their ordination about a week beforehand, and that they have no real theology education,my source tells me that the columnas wanted some deacons and so they simply " ordained a couple of the brothers". The MCS will do anything that Fr. amado and the columnas tell them to do, no questions asked. My source tells me that there is a big reason why they needed two deacons but he will let me know when he gets the whole story, but apparently it has something to do with the diocese of San Diego. Let us pray that this sect is not also considering sending priests and brothers to California.
ReplyDeleteMy friend that attended the "ordination" Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe here in Del Rio gave me a booklet that the "Estrellas" were handing out for the Mass. The names of the MCS priests listed in the booklet and their "titles" within the MCS, that were at the Mass were:
ReplyDelete1. Fr. Jose Melecio del Rosario, MCS
General Superior MCS
Principal celebrant
(Fr. Jose Melecio performed the ordination)
2. Fr. Elias Charbel de Maria, MCS
General Vicar MCS
Co-celebrant
3. Fr. Felipa Maria de Guadalupe, MCS
Co-celebrant
4. Fr. Blas Jair de Maria, MCS
Master of Ceremonies
If the Archbishop made it clear that the MCS are not allowed in this Archdiocese ever again, why did he (the Archbishop) give them permission to come to Del Rio for the "ordination"??? We should call the Archbishop's office to voice our concerns, just like all the "Estrellas" kept calling his office and sending faxes (during Aug.) that if he (the ARchbishop) did not come meet with them at St. Joseph's (so they could tell him to let the MCS stay at St. Joseph's), that at least 300 of them would go in buses and march into his office in San Antonio. So, Archbishop Gomez came to St. Joseph's.
Let's tell all the people that we know that are AGAINST the MCS coming back to the ARchdiocese, to call the ARchbishop's office and tell him that WE DO NOT WANT THE MCS IN THE SAN ANTONIO ARCHDIOCESE, because according to the comment of Nov. 23rd, the MCS are thinking of sending one of their newer priests to San Antonio for an exchange program. THIS DESTRUCTIVE SECT WILL DO ANYTHING TO DESTROY THE CHURCH, WHICH IS THEIR GOAL. THEY WANT TO BE "THE" ORGANIZATION THAT RUNS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, AND THEY WANT ONE OF THEIR OWN TO BE THE POPE!!! THEY ARE ALL ABOUT "CONTROL" AND "MONEY".
We have to let our voices be heard by the ARchbishop, and if he doesn't act on it, we can write to the Vatican.
To the poster of Nov. 21st, and to all those opposed to this dangerous sect, please let us know your comments.
Regarding the "ordination", I think I forgot to mention that the priest that ordained the brothers was Fr. Jose Melecio del Rosario. And I agree, that the ordination IS INVALID. But they the MCS are famous for making their own rules. The booklet for the Mass says that they take their vows of "obedience and poverty"....they are neither obedient nor poor. They disobey the decrees of the Vatican and the ARchdioces, and they "beg" and raise money any way they can, and they are very good at it, very convincing. WE NEED TO PUT A STOP TO THEIR DISOBEDIENCE AND THEIR BRAINWASHING.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, at the reception after Mass, which was held at the Kress bldg. here in Del Rio, I was told they had a huge statue of the Virgen del Pozo. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO HAVE STATUES OF THE VDP IN PUBLIC PLACES.
I am the person who posted on November 22nd, I spoke on the phone with my contact last night and he told me that Fr. Amado has now become more of a "Columna virtual" and so Fr. Melecio is doing more of the actual hands on dealings with the priests and brothers. I am curious as to why he sent Fr. Melecio into the united states (knowing fr. melecio's situation) . For those of you that don't already know, Fr. Jose Melecio has been accused multiple times of innapropriately touching male children, and has been detained multiple times for it, The mcs were at a point of almost actually having to force him to go into hiding with JAC, thats how bad the accusations were. My contact entered the MCS with the now Fr. Blas Jair and he tells me that this mcs priest is starting to debate his affiliation with the mcs, so he might decide to leave the mcs in the near future. my source also tells me that fr. elias charbel is a very confused man and a die hard promulgador of the vdp, at times to the point of appearing delusional, I met fr. Felipe a long time ago, before any of this and he was a genuinely nice guy, very dedicated to being a religious,he actually studied to enter the franciscans as a teenager, however he fell victim to a promulgadors brainwashing and was brought into the sect. he is one of the few in the mcs that i would say still has a chance at getting out. The fact that fr. amado would put an accused child abuser in a leadership position is very scary and one of the reasons why my informant has told me to tell everyone all of these things, finally here is the biggest news that i have to share, my source has told me that the mcs will be sending the two new deacons and five new brothers to study english in the San Diego area, the actual place hasnt been decided yet, neither has the school that they will be attending, apparently the reason for this is that the mcs have been discussing the idea of sending a few priests and brothers to the midwest to take advantage of the spanish speaking population of that area. This is very shocking news and proves once more just how greedy the MCS really are.
ReplyDeleteTo me it seems like the Archbishop does not want to make a scandal, he is trying to take care of things in a prudent way, but in this case its hard to do. According the letter posted on the Archdioceses of San Antonio website concerning The Virgen del Pozo, The Archbishop is asking the priest and the people not to have a statue or promote devotion to the VRP in Del Rio or in any other part of the Archdiocese of San Antonio, parish, office or rectory, prayer meetings or any other devotion may be carried out. He is talking about public places of the Archdiocese, he is not talking about regular public places. I say this because what it seems like to me is that the MCS look at stuff like this (loop holes)I don't know what happened at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, but it must be another loop hole. I guess we have to make sure we do everything for Love, sometimes we cannot take out the weeds without hurting the wheat. Mathew 13 24-30
ReplyDeleteI AGREE THAT THIS IS A SECT THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PENETRATE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. IT SEEMS THAT THIS NEEDS TO GO BEYOND THE BISHOP. IT IS CLEAR THAT THE BISHOP HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO, OR HAS NOT WANTED TO STOP THIS DEVOTION. THIS SITUATION NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ABOVE HIM. IT IS NOW TIME TO ADDRESS THE ARCHBISHOP AND, IF NEED BE, ABOVE HIM TOO. IT NEEDS TO BE DONE ASAP BEFORE IT CONTINUES TO GET OUT OF CONTROL.
ReplyDeleteThe Bishop of Parral, the Bishop of El Paso and the Archbishop of San Antonio Don't seem to be doing much in the way of making it clear that the MCS are not allowed or tolerated in their Dioceses, I am actually starting to think that they don't really care about this problem, The diocese of El Paso has done nothing up to this point, they havent even addressed the problem on their website, most people in this area dont even know that the MCS are here. I would think that bishops and priests should be sending out warnings about the MCS, be it in the weekly bulletins, diocese newspaper, on the websites, flyers etc. at least to tell people who the MCS are and what they are about and why not to associate with them. The bishop of parral appears to me, to actually believe in what the MCS are about, he obviously is on their side and fully knows that they have strange rituals and are a sect. He looks like he is brainwashed in the pictures that ive seen him in, the archbishop of san antonio, hasnt even publicly admitted that there was an invalid "ordination" in Del Rio at our lady of guadalupe church, doesnt he know that everyone that was at this "ordination" is automaticlly excommunicated. including parishioners, priests , deacons anybody that was at that church is excommunicated, he needs to come out and explain this so that people can confess and at least know what they have done wrong. I would have thought that by now something about all of this would have been on the diocese websites. somebody should go to the news and tell them what is going on, and especially show pictures of the mcs so that people know who to look for , when they hear a knock on the door, it is very important that people know what the MCS habit looks like and why not to give money to them
ReplyDeleteThe MCS are having a prayer meeting tonight in Juarez. I just got home from mass and found a little flyer on my door, it says that " Los Hermanos de La Restitucion te envitan a una charla y mini conferencia sobre nuestra madre la purisima del pozo" it also gives an address, but it seems to be a juarez address. there is a little sticker of the vdp on it. this is so strange since i live in Chamberino New Mexico, who should i tell about this.
ReplyDeleteSince neither the Bishop of Parral, the Bishop of El Paso, nor the Archbishop of San Antonio seem to want to do anything to put a stop to the MCS sect, I think we should ALL WRITE TO THE VATICAN telling them about what the MCS are doing in El Paso, what they continue doing in Del Rio, and what they want to do in San Antonio (send one of their newer priests to the exchange program to be closer to the "Estrellas de Maria" in Del Rio - to get MORE MONEY). Bro. Carlos and Bro. Luis are still here in Del Rio, they'll still be here all this week, but it looks like they don't want to leave. We don't understand why Archbishop Gomez allows them to be here. They are having "platicas" in homes of the "Estrellas" and of course asking for donations everytime they turn around. They don't care about being obedient to the Vatican, they only obey their "columnas" and Juan Angel Collado - they are so brainwashed.
ReplyDeleteTo the person with the comment of Nov 30th who lives in Chamberino, NM, tell your priest about it, print all these blogs and take them to your priest. We should all print these blogs and mail them to the Bishop of El Paso and ARchbishop Gomez in San Antonio. Let's put pressure on them, just like the "Estrellas" of Del Rio put pressure on the Archbishop with calls and e-mails, that he ended up having to come to St. Joseph's parish to hold a parish meeting, but in which he (the archbishop) did not really make it clear to the Estrellas and the MCS that they should not continue with their devotion. He told them they could do it in the privacy of their home, but they continue taking the statue of the VDP to homes and inviting all of Del Rio to the rosaries of the VDP. LET'S ALL WRITE TO THE VATICAN. We can address the letter to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, because that's the office that takes care of these matters: THE ADDRESS THAT I FOUND ON THE VATICAN WEBSITE IS:
SUPREME PONTIFF OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
(OR: EMINENCE POPE BENEDICT XVI)
CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH
VATICAN CITY
A no esperar....escribamos pronto.
Let us not waste time, let's write to the Vatican right away.
May God help us in this.
Bro. Carlos and Bro. Luis are still here in Del Rio and they are having their "platicas" in a PUBLIC PLACE. A friend told me that she saw many people entering the place and that both brothers were at the door greeting the people. The brothers are telling those in attendance that they need to collect 100 "despensas" (food and of course money) to take to El Paso because THE PEOPLE OF EL PASO ARE VERY POOR. I know that there are poor people in El Paso, just like in Del Rio and in any other town or city, but I truly believe that the "despensas" are for them, so that they do not have to buy food, and at the same time, the brainwashed people here in Del Rio will give the brothers everything they ask for, including money. I know for a fact that the Sunday offerings at St. Joseph's parish are very low, and that's because the "Estrellas" and other followers of the devotion of the VDP and the "mision" regularly send money to the MCS. Some of my friends here in Del Rio are still receiving the MCS monthly brochures (they also include a self-addressed envelope) where the MCS write articles and on the last page they ask for donations, and the address to send the donation is a P.O. Box here in Del Rio. This means that the "Estrellas" are handling all this money-making scheme for the MCS. They are so brainwashed, that it's to a point that they sometimes look like zombies, especially when they are in church. Too top it off, one of the deacons at St. Joseph's is also brainwashed. The MCS don't care who they brainwash, as long as the people do as they are told.
ReplyDeleteOne comment mentioned that Fr. Amado is a "Columna Virtual". I know that Fr. Gabriel has been a "Columna Virtual" since at least 2006, and he is one of the strongest leaders of the "mision", he is only about 26 yrs. old.
I agree that neither the bishops nor the Archbishop are doing anything to warn Catholics about this dangerous sect, so it is up to us as Catholics to write to the Vatican and complain.
Where are they having the platicas in Del Rio? where are the brothers staying?does anybody know if there are any men or women from Del Rio who are gonna join the MCS or OMR? Here in El Paso, the young men from juarez have been going door to door with the statues and leaving flyers all over the place, My daughter goes to UTEP and she has been approached by the MCS on campus, they have been selling raffle tickets and mexican candy all along mesa street. Does anyone know when they will be taking over the mision in san elizario? or how the monestary project is going? A good friend of mine saw five of the MCS going door to door in her neighborhood in La Union New Mexico. they need to be stopped, they are all over the place!
ReplyDeleteMy source inside the mision has just confirmed that the MCS will be sending four brothers as well as the two new "deacons" to san diego, they will be attending the pacific institute for language studies. This group of MCS will be moving to san diego in early March of 2009, my source tells me that the columas are not sure yet about when they will try to infiltrate the midwest states. The MCS working in el paso are doing extremely well and continue to bring new members into the sect, they are currently the top money earning group in the MCS, they are going to start on the planning phase of the new Monastery after the new year. The takeover of mision san elizario has been delayed by the columnas, due to disputes within the community about the benefit of having a parish, many members of the MCS would like to remain "under the radar" in el paso. The MCS are heavily targeting the utep area, they have already had success in finding recruits for the HMR sisters in juarez, Br. enoc will be arriving in el paso within the next two weeks, he has already left Rome and is in mexico city having meetings with the columnas, he will become the superior of the MCS in el paso, the reason why he will not be ordained after all is so that he will not be connected in any way to the local diocese. The juarez HMR sisters are still leading a very large youth group and painting images of the vdp. My contact has also told me that the columnas have chosen the priest that will be going to san antonio on the international priest exchange, he will be going alone as a priest of the diocese of Lima Peru, no one except the estrellas de maria in del rio will know that he is an MCS priest. his MCS name is padre jeremias maria de la plenitud MCS, but in san antonio he will be using his birth name, which is not known to my contact. This MCS priest will try to destroy the Archdiocese of san antonio from the inside, and since no one will know that he is an MCS, he has a good chance of causing many problems. This priest is one of the growing number of MCS working in peru. there is also a small group of Hmr sisters in peru.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Puerto Rico and know first hand about the sect and it's leader Collado. I was part of the group since I was a kid because of my parents, I formally joined in 1996 and stayed until 2006. This priest are definitely very dangerous and deceitful, they are brainwashed to think that what they are doing is God's plan and will, that is why they seem so charismatic and truthful. But the reallity is that they have their whole priesthood conditioned to the obedience of Collado. I can witness of many times that I heard Collado tell them that they were "promulgadores" first and then they were priests. Their main goal in what they are doing is to find followers that will eventually turn into "promulgadores" and to collect money to finance their work.
ReplyDeleteRigth now Collado is in hidding, but he still has total control over the "Mision" and the MCS. Like their leader, MCS has a long history of priests molesting new recruits and others that have had affairs with women of their locality. Plus when they understand that they have gain considerate control over some, they start to show their true colors. They teach a very confusing and non-catholic doctrine about some 7 charismatic spirits that sits next to a blue door in which the Virgin Mary spread her grace to the leaders of "la Mision". They also believe that Juan Collado is an angel in a descending process with the right to sin. They have a very dangerous beleif in which they have taken the practices of some saints that used to do penance and sacrifices to purify their sins and use this as an excuse to order cruel punishments to their members if they disobey, question or make mistakes. They have programmed their members to believe that if they leave the group they are betraying God and the Virgin Mary and are condemned for all eternity.
In Puerto Rico and Mexico when you finally decide to leave the group or you are expelled, they order the rest of the group not to talk or have any contact with you again, they also start to tell all sorts of lies and difamation about the ex-members. Many has endured years of depression and post traumatic disorders when they finally find the strenght to leave. It is very hard because while you are part of the group you are forced to leave behind your family and friends and eventually you become emotionally attach to the group as your family and only social group capable of understanding you.
My english is not the best and I have tried to be concise about something that is very complicated. I hope I have been of some help. Here are some videos with some proof of what I've been saying.

I agree that the MCS need to be stopped. The only one that can do it for Del Rio and El Paso area is Archbishop Jose Gomez from San Antonio Archdiocese. Bishop Ochoa in El Paso should have NEVER given them permission to "promote the rosary" as his secretary told one caller. Why didn't the bishop investigate the MCS group before allowing them to work in El Paso, and to top it off, he even gave them the mision San Elizario so they can continue brainwashing people and draining the people out of every dollar they can. The MCS are all about making money, they are millionares. Their so called "house" in Parral was a mansion. They abandoned it and are now in El Paso and in Mexico City, and the "Estrellas de Maria" here in Del Rio are stronger than ever - they also stop at nothing, they are very vocal about their devotion, they have their gatherings to pray the VDP rosary at each others homes and invite the whole city. They talk other persons into having the gatherings in their homes also. The MCS have trained the Estrellas very well, they are taught methods to use to get people involved in their sect, and to get them to donate or raise MONEY.
ReplyDeleteTheir main methods to make money is selling raffle tickets, mexican candy, mexican cheese and religious articles. Of course, they ALWAYS SAY THEY BELONG TO THE GROUP "LA VIRGEN PURISIMA", THEY DON'T SAY "VIRGEN DEL POZO" ANYMORE BECAUSE IT'S UNAUTHORIZED BY THE VATICAN AND THAT'S THE REASON THEY HAD TO LEAVE DEL RIO.
In Del Rio, Bro. Carlos and Bro. Luis were having their platicas in an empty store building which belongs to one of the "Estrellas". The building is across the street from the Port of Entry. Two days ago, a friend of mine went to that building and got off her car to looked through the tinted windows, she said the place is all decorated in blue (the color of the VDP devotion), and banners with "De la mano de Maria", which is "their" greeting to let others know they belong to the VDP group. The brothers also stayed at the home of this "Estrella" that owns the empty building. I call them brothers because their ordination was invalid - it was performed by one of their priests that came to celebrate the Mass.
I strongly believe that everyone in El Paso and surrounding areas should call Bishop Ochoa's office and complain about the MCS, tell him (or the secretary, because you won't be able to talk to the bishop), tell her that they are a destructive sect and you don't want what happened in Del Rio to happen in El Paso. If the bishop wants to know what the MCS are truly all about, search the web: Log on to Yahoo and search "Virgen del Pozo" - several sites come up but the 2 sites that have all the information and testimonies of ex-members is one that starts with "La Verdad sobre la mision de la VDP" and the other is "El Engaño de la mision VDP".
PLEASE CALL THE BISHOP'S OFFICE AND COMPLAIN!!
DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE NAMES OFF ALL THE MEMBERS IN THE GROUP"LA VIRGEN PURISIMA. PLEASE LET ALL OFF DEL RIO KNOW WHO THEY ARE.
ReplyDeletecan you leave here the telephone number of the bishop's office so we can all call?
ReplyDeleteTranks.
It doesn't matter if it was'nt an ordination or if it was perpetual vows, the MCS and the devotion to the VDP are strictly forbidden by the vatican! whatever happened at our lady of guadalupe church in del rio, on the 19th of november was totally against the teachings of the catholic church.
The phone numbers for Bishop Ochoa and Archbishop Gomez are listed above.
LET'S ALL CALL AND PUT A STOP TO THIS DESTRUCTIVE SECT, AND IF NECESSARY, I AGREE THAT WE SHOULD WRITE DIRECTLY TO THE VATICAN ABOUT THIS SECT.
Hello, I have new news from my contact inside the Mision. Like I have said before, my contact is a former MCS seminarian, because of his connection with the MCS he has alot of first hand knowledge about what they are up to. My contact and I were able to talk last night and he had some startling news, the first being that the juarez HMR sisters are starting to become much more active in El Paso, they had been relying on the MCS to make contacts for them, but Madre Esperanza del Corazon de Jesus who is the HMR superior has decided that they will start doing their "infamous home visits" again. The HMR sisters have a long history of recruiting members for the mision, most of the MCS priests were recruited by "las monjitas". the sisters have traditionally been the ones to take around the statues of the VDP to the different houses. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT BRAINWASHING!!. My contact tells me that the sisters are much more aggressive and fanatical about the devotion than ever before, DO NOT open your door if they knock, they will never leave you alone again. My contact also said that hno. Enoc is almost done meeting with the columnas in mexico city and will be arriving in El Paso in the coming week. My contact has told me that the MCS in the El Paso area are very excited about him coming, hno Enoc is extremely smart and highly educated, he moved through the MCS formation process extremely fast and is one of the candidates that the MCS have in mind for "papa promulgador". The MCS are heavily targeting all of the smaller towns in southern new mexico. To set the record straight, the mass at our lady of guadalupe church in del rio was the ordination of hno's luis and carlos, the person who posted before me, was totally correct in the fact that everyone was told that it was a perpetual vows ceremony but what actually took place was a diaconate ordination, of course 100% invalid. My contact told me that it is not the first time that the MCS have held invalid "ordinations", padre felipe and padre jaime as well as the soon to be infamous padre jeremias were all "ordained deacons and priests on the same day by padre amado. this "ordination" took place at the MCS monastery in queretero mexico on july 17th 2005. the columnas are planning on fr. jeremias to arrive in san antonio with the next year or so to begin his undercover assignment with the estrellas de maria. The MCS at the formation house in Mexico city are preparing the five young men in the second stage of formation for their "toma de habito y nombre de hombre nuevo" ritual. This ritual will take place at the beginning of april of 2009. during this ritual the new MCS brothers will be dressed in the MCS habit and make their promises to fr. amado,fr. melecio and to the columnas, they will also receive their new MCS names and will leave behind their old lives and their families forever. An MCS brother or priest can only visit his family at the discretion of the columnas (basically never) and can no longer receive letters from family or friends, the day after he receives his habit he basically dissappears. hno. enoc is allowed to have his myspace page solely as a recruiting tool.
ReplyDeleteI have just returned from doing some Christmas shopping in downtown El Paso and I cannot believe how many fliers and posters with the image of the VDP I saw taped all over, I even saw a few stores with framed images of the vdp behind the register, as if for good luck. I can now confidently say that the mision is alive and well in El Paso, some of the fliers that I saw had pictures of the "Hermanos de la Restitucion" on them and were asking people to come to prayer meetings in Juarez. They were using "purisima del pozo" instead of "virgen del pozo". to describe the images. The MCS and HMR are taking over and it is up to us to stop them. I feel bad for all of the poor old people who unknowingly are giving money to the "padrecitos and hermanitas" who are knocking on their doors and lying to them about what they are doing with the money.
ReplyDeleteTo the person that said that the followers of the MCS were walking around like zombies is not true. I have seen them and they are normal people trying to get closer to God. It was also said that the MCS hit themselves and perform harsh sacrifices. Has anyone actually been there to say that is what they do? Someone is misinforming them about alot of things. I am an ex-follower of this so called sect. I did not witness any of the such. There are columnas that I met.
ReplyDeleteAbout what was said that they stole money from the St. Paul collection, well the deacon himself announced in church that the colllection for that day was for the MCS who were leaving. I was there. Some things might be true but I think these persons are exagerating some. They seem to told a big grudge or hate them badly.Do not go on a here say or she/he told me.Listen to your heart and be fair.Iam not saying that they are not in error but I quit following them because I want to be obedient to our Archbishop and I have read letters from the Archbishop in Puerto Rico and the Holy See.
Hello Everyone:
ReplyDeleteI am going to tell my experience with the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote.
Before they came into my life. I was not very religious at all. I attended mass just the major holy days.
Then one day I met Father David. This was two years ago. He became my spiritual guide. He helped me discover God's Love and taught me that God is a loving Father and wants all of us to be in Heaven with Him for eternity.
Father David loves Our Lady Virgin Mary. I Love Her too.
And I want to let everyone know that He never tried to brainwash me or even asked for money.
Thanks to his teachings. I worship and adore Our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray to my God everyday.
I do not have a statue of La Virgen del Pozo in my house and I am not part of the devotion.
What I do have is a Big Crucifix in my room that I kneel down before and pray everyday.
I play in the church choir at least twice a week. I have not stopped going since I joined.
I Love Jesus Christ! I Love Our Lady Virgin Mary!
When the Misioneros left, a lot of the fellow church members doubted that I would be around after Father David left.
They thought that I went to choir because Father David told me too.
They were so wrong. I go to sing to My Lord Jesus!!!!
The Love for God that lives in my heart is Forever.
I ask everyone not to judge before having met them.
I also would like to encourage all of you to Love Our Savior Jesus Christ.
To sing to Him!
He sent me an angel when I needed Him most.
And that angel came to me in the person of Father David.
God Bless each and every person that is posting comments on this site.
I have been blessed and continue to be blessed everyday since I took Father David's advice and decided to give my life to God.
I keep going to St. Joseph's church and I have not noticed any division.
But then again, I go to praise and worship my Lord Jesus Christ. It may be because I get consumed by His LOVE when I attend Mass that I do not notice anything.
One other thing I would like to mention. When Father David left Del Rio, there was a goodbye reunion for him at the parish hall.
The parish hall was full and there were a lot of emotional goodbyes from many parishioners.
Too me that tells me that there was only a select few that didn't like the misioneros.
And those select few shined because of their absence at the goodbye reunion.
I imagine that a lot of them are posting comments against the Misioneros.
I suggest that you give your first name at least. Anyone can speak anonymously.
God knows who you are. If the Misioneros mission is not from God, time will tell.
It is your choice if you follow any devotion to Our Lady.
All I am saying is that the Misioneros led me to our Lord Jesus.
And for that I thank them.
God Bless All of You!
I think when people write to this forum its because they want to express themselves and because they are concern. It needs to be anonymous for peace sake. Some people express themselves harshly, but its only an expression of concern to an uncomfortable situation. Everyone here loves Our Lord and Our Lady. I also believe that everyone here who knows Father David also love him. All this some day will come to pass, but for now I think it is best to make comments under anonymous. Jesus left Our Catholic Church to guide us.
ReplyDeleteTo the comment of Jan. 20, the person says he/she is an ex-follower and left the group because she wants to be obedient. That is what this is all about!! The MCS themselves are NOT being obedient to the Vatican nor to the Archdiocese, and they refuse to be obedient. At the parish meeting with Archbishop Gomez at St. Joseph's, the ARchbishop told all of us in attendance (I was there) that he had told Fr. Gabriel that if they did not continue with their devotion they could stay, but Fr. Gabriel made the decision to leave rather than be obedient to the decrees of the Vatican. Fr. Gabriel is one of the columnas and he and the rest of the "top" people are obedient only to Juan Angel Collado and Dr. Pesquera. I talked personally to Fr. Gabriel and told him I did not like all the division they created at St. Joseph's parish, and that it was very noticeable that he and the other MCS only favored the Estrellas the Maria. Of course, he denied it. But when I told him I knew he was being desobedient to the Vatican and the Archdioceses and that he was obedient only to Juan Angel Collado, his response to me was, "right now, it's Dr. Pesquera, he's in charge". To the poster of Jan. 20th I ask, what do you think about that?
ReplyDeleteThis individual should google "Virgen del Pozo" in order to inform herself or himself of what this sect really does. There is no "misinformation" on the web, there are a lot of testimonies of ex-members, and they all cannot be lying. This sect is all about brainwashing people and having them raise money for the MCS.
I just pray that one day all the MCS will open their eyes and their hearts and obey the Vatican decrees regarding this particular devotion. Those of us that post comments against this devotion have nothing against our Blessed Mother, I love the Virgin Mary with all my heart and I always pray to her. please understand that this is against a devotion that is not authorized by the Vatican and as devoted Catholics we have to be obedient.
Hello, does anybody have an update on the MCS in El Paso and Juarez? I live in El Paso and have seen the "brothers" walking downtown on several ocassions, I know that they have been really active in Juarez lately. I have also seen them near UTEP talking with students, but lately it seems like they have gone undercover, so does anybody know what is going on with them?
ReplyDeleteThe MCS in El Paso are still working to recruit followers for the sect, they have been concentrating primarily on juarez and the smaller towns in between Las Cruces , New Mexico and El Paso. Hno. Enoc is now in charge of the group working in this area. There are still thirteen of them in the area, currently they are still living in CD. Juarez. the majority of them are working in the juarez colonias, a small group is working on the El Paso/Las Cruces side. They have started to sell raffles tickets, using the name Hermanos de La Restitucion. The HMR isters in juarez are still doing well, they are now making vestments for clergy. The sect is very much alive and well in the El Paso area. they have just become more careful about who they present themselves to. Fr.Amado and Fr. Jose Melecio were just in the area to spend Christmas with the young men preparing to enter the "Order", the two new "Deacons" also spent Christmas in the area with a local promulgadora, the same woman who has been letting them use her house for their meetings here in El Paso. Their plans are still the same. The only exception is that they no longer desire to have a church in the diocese, fr. amado felt as though it would be inviting another del rio incident and quietly withdrew their request for a parish.
ReplyDeleteWhile all this persecution is on the roll, why don't we request the church to give us a list of all the priest who are accused of sexual molestation and get them kicked out. It is not fair to target only one particular group.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, lawsuits against molester priests cost the church millions of dollars.
If we are going to be hard, let's be hard on everyone.
Our Lord told us to love our neighbors.
To love our enemies!
I want to know how many of you people posting comments are 100% obedient to our church.
None!!!
I am not, I am a SINNER.
If the misioneros are in the wrong, there will be a judgement day for them too.
If you don't want to open your doors to them don't.
Treat them like you would any of the other missionary christians.
I don't see anyone complaining against the Jehovah witnesses, the Mormons or any other groups.
Those other groups are the ones that are really taking a toll on us.
Every day we loose many Catholics to other religions.
It may be because of all this hatred that is going around.
I am not defending any group. I am just defending what Our Lord taught us.
Let's learn how to love and forgive.
Peace.
ReplyDeleteI have been investigating the MCS for quite some time and I was finally able to communicate via email with hno. enoc maria de la fe, I was able to find out alot about the MCS from him, they are liars and will try to cheat everyone that they meet. I gave him a cover story about myself and he has been emailing me everyday, trying to get me to join the MCS. telling me to attend their meetings and asking me to come to mexico and visit their "community". He told me that before I could enter their community "I had to go through a process of "formation" to better understand their charisms.(brainwashing). and had to make an oath to God through the VDP . (la promesa). If i hadnt known so much about the sect beforehand I would have believed it all. He just kept the lies coming. He said that they are a "new Marian order" that they are an "official community of apostolic right" that they were fouded by the bishop of parral mexico (they were really founded by juan collado), TO REITERATE DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THEM. he also kept insisting that they are canonically approved by the pope in rome. his eamil address is enocmariadelafe@Gmail.com, if anyone would like to continue my investigation.
ReplyDeleteHello Everyone,
ReplyDeleteJust to let everyone know what has happened in Del Rio since the MCS left. Now it seems we have a dance at the parish hall for anything. It seems that the church will start having a monthly dance to celebrate the birthdays of our parishioners for each month.
Guess what, the dance is advertised on the radio. Can you believe that?
It makes me sad to see that our parish hall has turned from a place of worship to a dance hall.
The MCS used to have presentations for the youth regarding religious subjects. Jesus Christ was always the center of their teachings.
I guess that's what the people that didn't like the MCS were missing all along.
I am a St. Joseph parishioner and I miss the MCS.
They taught me that the church is a place to worship.
Also, all of you people that keep saying that Juan Angel Collado is being sought by law. Please put a link to where we can see his most wanted photo.
I am not a VDP follower, but I am fed up with all this attacks to the MCS.
It is very simple, provide all the facts.
If Collado is wanted by the law, prove it. Show us the picture.
In todays information age, if you really want to make a point. It's not hard to do.
If Collado is wanted for sexual charges. I guess he will be in the sex offenders or fugitive webpage for Puerto Rico.
As a matter of fact, I will do some research myself and I will post the facts regarding Collado.
Also, to all you people that blindly believe all the attacks against the MCS. Be careful. It seems that all of you are the ones being brainwashed by all these people posting negative comments.
Find out the facts first then decide.
Remember, Jesus was attacked and a lot of people didn't believe in Him.
A lot of people thought, His miracles were performed because the demons helped Him.
God Bless All of You!.
From the comment posted on February 12th we can see that the MCS continue to try to lure people into their sect by continueing to lie. It is so sad because with their charisma and their knowledge, they could be truly wonderful brothers and priests, if only they would obey the Vatican's decrees.
ReplyDeleteI understand that Bros. Luis and Carlos wanted to come to Del Rio in March to be ordained priests, but the answer to them was "NOT IN DEL RIO". So now they are going to be ordained in El Paso. Does anyone know if this is true?
In the comment from February 24th, you are comparing Juan Angel Collado to Jesus? Please! I am not a member of the group but do know many members who have suffered terribly by the hand of this terrible cult. Some were so damaged that they continue to suffer post traumatic stress like symptoms. I personally know the 2 victims who have come forward publically to inform Puerto Rico about being raped and sexually abused by JAC. You can see their testimonies on YouTube and can post these links on your web page.
ReplyDeleteThis organization was started by an evil man seeking fame, power and fortune. It traps people with sweet lies about salvation and confuses them with their doctrine. It does not follow Jesus' teaches of love and charity. It ruins lives.
Stay away from this dangerous organization. Read the bible and follow Jesus' teachings instead.
God Bless.
Yes it is true that bro luis and bro carlos wanted to come to del rio to be ordained, but they were told NO, so now they are going to be ordained in El Paso, the HMR sisters in Juarez are raising money for this, the MCS have made a new poster of the two brothers with the words "continuando con la obra" along the top and pictures of the two brothers standing next to a huge statue of the VDP, hno luis and hno carlos both have their hoods up and are holding smaller statues of the vdp. I saw this poster at the mercado in juarez a few weeks ago, at the bottom it talks about how they are going to be ordained in march. the place is stated as St. Patricks cathedral in el paso texas.
ReplyDeleteTo the person that posted on Feb. 28, I want to make one point clear.
ReplyDeleteI am not comparing Juan Angel Collado to Jesus.
No one compares to OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
We are nothing!!
Don't try to put words in my mouth.
All I want is official proof of the accusations against Juan Angel Collado.
I searched the FBI, US Marshall's web pages where fugitives are listed and I did not find any info on Juan Angel.
As for videos on youtube, anybody can do that.
I can make my own videos against anybody if I wanted too. However, that doesn't prove anything.
I want the official documents.
I want to see the arrest warrants. I want the link to the official government law enforcement agency that is looking for Juan Angel.
If you can't provide them, you are wrongfully accusing a person.
That is a SIN!
God Bless All Of You!!
The person whose comment was posted on March 6th wants proof of Collado being accused of sexual abuse by an ex-member of the sect. I suggest that this individual search in Puerto Rico, or go to the live reports posted on the web by news channels in Puerto Rico and Mexico regarding these accusations against Collado, it's all there. These sexual abuse reports were on the Mexico news channels several times. Then, if that's not enought evidence, contact the news channels and ask where you can obtain the documents. Seems that this individual wants others to do the leg work and wants everything handed to her/him. All I can say is, get on the internet and get to work!
ReplyDeleteBro. Carlos (now Deacon Carlos) was in Del Rio about 2 weeks ago. THEY KEEP COMING BACK. He came to ask for money from the "followers" of the Virgen del Pozo that are still in Del Rio, especially the Estrellas de Maria, and stayed for several days. He was at St. Joseph's and at Guadalupe church. They know that the Estrellas in Del Rio will give them their last dime, and talk others, especially the elderly, to "donate" money to the MCS because they are in dire need. Some of the Estrellas still sell items outside the church at St. Joseph's (after Mass) and send the money to the MCS in Mexico. These Estrellas do not help with fund raisers for the parish, but they are at the parish grounds eagerly selling Mexican candy, cheese, and other items to send the money to the MCS, when they should working for St. Joseph's parish that needs a lot of help.
The MCS are by no means poor -- the "higher-ups" set quotas on the money raising for the sect members. The proof is in the short time it took them to raise the money in El Paso for the monastery they plan to build.
We need to continue praying that the MCS may soon realize and accept the fact that they are being disobedient, and to obey the Vatican Decrees regarding the unauthorized the devotion to the Virgen del Pozo. But sadly, they only obey Juan Angel Collado, Dr. Pesquera and Sr. Mescades, these 3 are in control of everything, and their main objective is money, money, money.
I will repeat what a commentor said: we are not against our Blessed Mother, we love her dearly, she is always interceding for us the protecting us. The MCS problem here is their continued devotion which is unauthorized by the Vatican, and the way they operate, which is a sect. We do not need this in our Catholic Church.
God bless all of you.
This weekend the young MCS brothers in mexico city will receive their habits and new names, there will be five new MCS brothers. as someone stated earlier, they will say a final goodbye to their real families and become "hijos de maria". it will be a sad day for their families, since many will never see their sons again, the five new brothers have been fasting and torturing themselves for the past month in order to "purify themselves for this ceremony". they are re-burned on their arms and necks and hands and allowed only small amounts of food only after saying hundreds of rosaries all day long they wear sharp metal bands on their calves and are told to hit themselves with metal rods to "please maria". LET us pray for these young men and their families, so that they may one day leave this fake religious order and continue their vocations in real orders or as diocesan priests.
ReplyDeleteLast Saturday five new MCS brothers were clothed in the white habit and brown scapular. The five new brothers also received their new MCS names. The ceremony was held in the chapel of the MCS house of formation in Mexico City. Fr. Melecio and Fr. Amado concelebrated the liturgy along with ten other MCS priests, all of the members of the MCS were in attendance as well as the HMR sisters. Brother Enoc Maria de la fe, acted as master of ceremonies. The five new brothers were given time to say goodbye to their families and were quickly taken to begin a month long spiritual retreat at the MCS monestary in the mountains of Queretero Mexico. Following this retreat those that have been chosen to become priests by the columnas will begin their formal seminary training at the Seminario Estatal de Chihuahua. While those that will stay brothers will be sent to one of the seven MCS houses to begin their ministries. Back at the house of formation in Mexico City a new group of eight new MCS brothers will begin their two year journey on April 13th. These eight new brothers have already spent a year at one of the MCS houses as an "Aspirante" before arriving to begin their training in Mexico City.
ReplyDeleteHow sad that some people can be brainwashed by the sect leaders, as are the ones that join the MCS and the Hermanas de la Restitucion, and the ones that become promulgadores or followers of the "Virgen del Pozo". They will do ANYTHING that is asked of them by the columnas, from raising money (by quota), lying, and being disobedient to the Church. We have to keep praying for them.
ReplyDeleteTo the person who posted March 24th. For your knowledge brother/sister, I have already looked up the internet and I looked at the official law enforcement sites. I do not need to work to disprove anything. Actually, the people that should be doing all the work are the ones that are accusing the MCS.
ReplyDeletePut all the facts, official facts and official law enforcement wanted or fugitive information on Mr. Collado.
The media is full of lies and I will never trust them.
Please do the work and provide the facts if you want to convince me!
You are the ones that want us to believe the accusations. It is your responsibility to provide the facts!!!!
And as for complaints against the MCS.
Well guess what, there are a bunch of complaints against our current priest at St. Joseph's.
He is a good priest and and is trying to do his job the best that he can.
Some people are just not happy with anything.
If they want to run the church, well get to the seminary and become a priest or nun.
As for me I will work with and pray for whoever the Lord places in my church to guide us.
The MCS did a good job.
As for candy selling and all the other accusations. Well, I attend church every Sunday and I have not seen any of the activities you mentioned.
We had barbecue chicken tickets sold for the spring festival and for the raffle and that's about it.
Thanks and God Bless all Of You!
ReplyDeleteIn response to the above question, hno carlos and hno luis were "ordained" priests on March 21st at the cathedral in Juarez Mexico, they had tried to get permissionto use st. patricks cathedral in El Paso but did not recieve it. The homilist and celebrant was padre amado del sagrado corazon and padre blas jair de la plenitud assisted. There was not a bishop present. All of the hmr sisters were in attendance as well as most of the mcs priests and brothers. hno enoc maria de la fe was master of ceremonies. The new "priests" along with five mcs brothers are now hard at work in southern california, near san diego. The mcs in el paso continue to grow and are doing extremely well. As stated before hno enoc maria de la fe is the new superior of the mcs in el paso. the eight new brothers have begun their two years of training at the mexico city house of formation. among this group are two american men from texas and a young man from italy. the five newly invested brothers finished their month long retreat in the mountains of mexico and three of them have started taking summer theology classes at the chihuahua seminary, the other two who will remain brothers are now living at the parral mexico monastery. Last week father melecio was in houston texas visiting with potential members and fr. gabriel will be visiting the diocese of las cruces new mexico within the coming year to begin talks with bishop ricardo ramirez about possibly sending an mcs priest into the diocese. in del rio the estrellas de maria continue to raise funds for the mision and are now mentored and guided by fr. jeremias, as stated earlier he is working undercover in the archdiocese of san antonio, he arrived in san antonio on the 23rd of april, he is an older priest who appears to be in san antonio to retire. the foundation of the el paso monastery has begun to be laid, and under the direction of hno enoc maria will quickly become a major recruiting tool for the mcs and omr. the mcs continue to grow and now with three english speaking vocations studying in mexico city, they continue owith their plan to infiltrate the catholic church
ReplyDeleteI have just been informed that the MCS are having an "experiencia vocacional" sometime in July at their house in Mexico City. I also recently came across some pictures of the current class of "hermanos promulgadores" at the mexico city house on facebook. They are extremely young! some of them look like they are still in their teens, they wear black pants and white or black shirts and of course have a wooden rosary in their hands. I also have seen pictures of some of the newly proffessed brothers, some of them look like zombies with dark circles under their eyes from staying up for days. they look like kids, i cannot stress how young they look, they look really weird with their new habits on, the white alb with brown scapular. I am curious as to what kind of things will go on at this retreat in july, of course brainwashing and telling of the "verdadera historia", but i wonder what they tell these kids about their order. the mcs also have a new video on youtube of them preaching to the native people in the mountains of chihuahua. the mcs now have houses in rome, mexico city, dominican republic, puerto rico, atascadero chihuahua, juarez chihuahua, el paso texas and a new smaller house in parral, it is not the famous "mcs mansion". they closed the mansion down and moved all of the student brothers to mexico city, juarez and atascadero, only two priests and three brothers are still living in parral in order to care for the hmr sisters there. the different levels of mcs are: promulgador- not yet holding a rosary in their hand, hermano promulgador- those who have started the process at one of the houses, these guys wear black pants and a white or black shirt and are already required to always have a rosary in their hands, the next level is proffesed mcs brother- they wear the white and brown habit and rosary and the last stage is hermano columna- these are mcs priests and brothers who have made their final oath to the vdp and wear the white and brown habit but they also wear a brown cape called the esclavera over their scapular.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while since I logged on to this website to find out what the mcs are doing now, but FYI, the mcs are NO LONGER IN EL PASO. The bishop of El Paso wrote a letter telling the mcs AND the hermanas de la restitucion "adios". Log on to www.elpasodiocese.org to read the letter. The bishop also forbids their followers in the El Paso diocese from selling items to raise funds for the mcs. Del Rio was first, now El Paso. Where are they now? Does anybody know? Are they in California?
ReplyDeleteAlso, does anyone know if it's true that Hno. Luis left the mcs? If so, where did he go?
I continue praying for the MCS that one day they realize that what they are doing is wrong.
God bless us all.
The following is the letter from Bishop Ochoa from El Paso, but if you have doubts about this leter not being "real", please log on to www.elpasodiocese.org and see the letter on its website:
ReplyDeleteChurch rejects devotion to ‘La Virgen del Rosario del Pozo’
To the Clergy, Religious and Lay Faithful of the Diocese:
It has recently come to my attention that certain priests and/or their lay associates called “Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote” have been promoting a devotion to ‘La Virgen del Rosario del Pozo. The priests in question had in fact been given permission a number of years ago to work and form their seminarians in El Paso. However, this permission is hereby revoked and the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote are not authorized to solicit any donations for themselves or this devotion either directly or through others. In addition, they are not authorized for any kind of ministry in the Diocese of El Paso.
The events of 1953 in Puerto Rico that have resulted in this movement namely, “La Virgen del Rosario del Pozo,” is not of a supernatural nature according to the Diocesan Bishop of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The Mission of the Virgen del Rosario del Pozo, is no longer a recognized entity in the Church as of 1987. In 1996 and again in 2006 the Bishop’s Conference of Puerto Rico warned the faithful to not become associated with this movement and have likewise prohibited the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote from exercising their ministry in Puerto Rico. The Archbishop of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and our own Archbishop of San Antonio, have both refused to endorse the Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote and their devotion. I understand that there is also a group of women religious, called “Hermanas Misioneras de la Restitución.” This group, also connected to the above movement, has never been officially accepted for any apostolate in the Church.
As my brother bishops in Puerto Rico expressed in their 2006 Pastoral Letter, there are many other valid forms of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Church encourages sound Marian devotion. Our border region has long celebrated the Virgen de Guadalupe as one of our patron saints and we have many opportunities for celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary according to the norms of the Church.
The Misioneros de Cristo Sacerdote and any of their associates or associated organizations are not authorized to solicit donations or promote devotions to the Virgen del Rosario del Pozo in any way in the Diocese of El Paso.
Most Rev. Armando X. Ochoa, D.D.
Bishop of El Paso
I have tried to find out where the MCS went but have been unable to. I have heard that they have found a Bishop in europe that was going to let them into his diocese, but i dont know which diocese and what country. the MCS have become very secretive on their websites and the only things that i know are that they are still in parral and in mexico city and in atascadero chihuahua. I too have heard that hno luis left the MCS but i cannot confirm this. Hno carlos was to be ordained to the priesthood in september but i dont know when or where. IF ANYBODY HAS ANY NEW INFO ABOUT THE MCS PLEASE POST IT HERE.
ReplyDeleteI also wonder how many members the MCS now has. I am very curious about the MCS and how they recruit young men to enter their "ORDER"
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteHermano Enoc is living in Rome and you can find his page at MySpace and Facebook (Harvey Flores).
The priest he lives with is PADRE PEDRO MARIA DE LA PLENITUD. He does mass in diferent churchs and they live by donations(?).
They have several Virgen del Pozzo walking around teh coutry.
They are very nice and good talk(?). Very good actors...
After days searching in the net, I realized how dangerous they are. They are big liers...
Good talk, but they don't live the Bible teaching.
What do they do in Rome, beside asking money??? Let me shut up...
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
To the person who said that we could find the letter from bishop Ochoa from El Paso. Well, I went to that website and I didn't find any letter. Could you be more specific on where or what website I have to open. I really would like to see it. Will be waiting for your clarification. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have new information regarding the misioneros de cristo sacerdote, they are still in parral and also are in charge of the church in the mountain town of attascaderos chihuahua. they are continueing to grow, there are now 35 MCS priests and brothers, the house of formation is in parral and they also have a house in mexico city and a house in rome .as i stated above, they are in charge of the the church in attascaderos chihuahua, fr. blas jair de maria mcs is the pastor there. they continue to preach and give retreats throughout the diocese of parral chihuahua, the bishop of parral is a frined of theirs and does nothing to stop them. there are now five mcs living at the house in rome, the superior of that house is fr. jesus maria mcs, the house in mexico city is full to capacity with young mcs brothers, the superior there is fr. pedro maria mcs. the house of formation in parral continues to receive money from promulgadores all over the world, the superior in parral is fr. elias charbel de maria mcs. the new superior general of the mcs is fr. jose melecio del rosario mcs, he also resides in mexico city, fr. david maria mcs and fr. gabriel maria mcs as wel as fr. pio maria mcs and fr. felipe maria mcs all are still preaching the message of the rosario del pozo all around the world. the newest mcs priest fr. carlos maria mcs is now in charge of the neojuventud group which indoctrinates young people in the beliefs of the mision, he is being assisted by deacon luis maria mcs, who never left the mcs as some people thought. their is also an mcs priest named fr. giovanni maria who is part of the group living in rome, he had a video on youtube but apperantly it has been removed, the video showed him preaching in italian next to a statue of the vdp, he was wearing the white and brown mcs habit. also something to note, hno enoc maria mcs, is now back in rome he along with hno augustin maria mcs and hno lorenzo maria mcs are now back attending the pontifical seminary. like i have said there are so many mcs brothers and priests that i cant remember all of their names, but here is an update on those that i have investigated.
ReplyDeleteHello Everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am writing to tell you all how much I miss the MCS in Del Rio, Tx.
When the MCS were here, we used to have a lot of activity at the church.
At holidays we used to have plays that taught what that particular holiday was about. The birth of Jesus, the death and resurrection of Jesus. The last supper.
We used to have parade entries during Christmas with a lot of parishoners showing Joseph and Mary traveling to Bethlehem.
All that is gone.
Now we have so called talent shows where 90% of the supposed talent has nothing to do with church subjects.
We have people imitating regular old sinful stars from today.
I am very disappointed. I attended the talent show this past week and left very quickly.
There were 5 people dressed as devils on stage supposedly fighting against angels.
Satan does not deserve any look alikes to be on stage in a church. Especially during Christmas time.
Go ahead and accuse the MCS of whatever you want.
But our church hasn't been the same since they left.
I will let you know when the next talent show comes up so that you can come and see it.
It's a joke!!!!
If the MCS is growing it is because they are doing something right!
Peace to All!
Hello, I seem to have found the MCS website yesterday, its pretty nice, too bad that it is nothing but lies and propoganda.
ReplyDeletethe address is:
misionerosdecristo.net
ive looked at everything on there.
notice how they are targeting young men by making their "order" seem all noble and chivalrus, even the music is that way, they show alot of the priests and brothers on there, and alot of information on their beliefs and a totally made up story about how they were founded and they spelled Archbishop Gomez's name wrong.
Does anyone know if the MCS are in a parish in Texas? I heard they are in Abilene - does anyone know if this is true? They are very knowledgeable and very charismatic, you can't help but like them, but it's a shame that they are not being obedient to the Vatican. I pray that one day they'll accept and obey the Vatican's decrees.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if the MCS are in Abilene, but hno luis mcs is now father luis mcs, he was ordained in parral chihuahua about a month ago, i found this out by googling the parral newspaper and there he was right on the front page, however in the picture he is called by his real name, manuel vergara. i also know that the mcs are still making trips into del rio to talk with the estrellas de maria group. they are also still frequenting el paso to solicit new members to join them, the juarez hmr sisters are still there, they make and sell vestments for priests, hno enoc maria will be ordained deacon in the next couple of months. he has been told by the higher ups that he will be a priest, there are now about fifty mcs brothers in all the different levels of formation. alot of the mcs brothers and priests have facebook pages, i have found quite a few of them on facebook, the devotion to the mision is very much alive and well on facebook, during holy week the mcs sponsor a pilgrimige to the small towns in the mountains of chihuahua, they have control of these isolated poor people and brainwash the heck out of them. the order is growing very fast and i was extremely surprised to find prayer cards using the image of the vdp in the local religious article shops in my town. it seems like the image of the vdp is everywhere now adays. i have seen it used in posters on cards, online, basically anywhere relating to the virgin mary, THIS IMAGE IS FORBIDDEN BY ROME !!
ReplyDelete"If the MCS is growing it is because they are doing something right! Peace to All!"
ReplyDeleteLucey Van Goethem when do you leave for your fund raising training?
CATOLICO INSTRUIDO, JAMAS SERA CONFUNDIDO.
Estemos alertas www.misionvirgendelpozo.com www.victimasectas.com
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where the misioneros de cristo sacerdote are now in Texas? I agree with the comments of April 25 and Dec 28, 2010. This is a dangerous sect. They are not obedient to the Vatican, the Pope, and their only objective is to make money for Juan Collado. It is sad, because they are very charismatic and knowledgeable, but what they are doing is wrong. They have been brainwashed, and they in turn are brainwashing those who believe them. If anyone knows where MCS are now, please post it. God bless.
ReplyDeleteI am proudly from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico. I was a member of the Committee Of La Virgen del Pozo, in the barrio of Rincon, where it's located. I was called by our parish priest, Father Angel Latre, to become a member of the Committee, given that at that time he suspected it was being degenerated into a cult. Before this time of corruption brought by false seer Juan Angel Collado, the El Pozo chapel was a Church-faithful popular devotion centered around the Rosary. I still remember very beautiful times of prayer to Our Lord and love for the Holy Mother in different activities, in its lovely countryside environment. When Juan Angel brought his cadre of rich, influential people, it all went downhill from there and it became a cult that even controlled its member's sexual lives. I initiated an investigation into the facts that in 1953 started the belief in an apparition of the Holy Virgin. Microfilms from newspapers of the time and many other contemporary sources proved to be shocking. It started with the fact that the original "seers" were 23 not 3, as Collado conveniently stated. The facts about what they supposedly saw and heard did not match his imposed version. The most disturbing fact was that, when a journalist visited the tiny school were the "seers" attended, he found a chaotic room of children running everywhere. When he stopped one of them he asked what the cause of the conmotion was. The child said they were seeing angels. When he stopped another child he asked what the angels looked like. This child responded that they had pointy beards and very long, sharp nails. This, of course, is not the description of angels but of demons. All of this information can be easily verified because it was published in the Church's weekly: El Visitante, after I took the results of my investigation to Rev. Cardinal Monsignor Aponte Martinez. This last finding proves that the apparition seen by the children was NOT the Virgin Mary, but a demonic sighting. This also perfectly matches Juan Angel Collado's fanatical, cultic grip on his followers and the eerie, emotional charm and control that they are able to generate on priests, nuns, bishops and others, and their stubborn insistence on spreading this dangerous, rebellious cult despite the fact that Collado's own great personal sins and unrepentance prove far beyond the shadow of a doubt that he is a fraud. I thank from the very bottom of my heart the people in charge of this blog for bringing the truth forward. This is indispensable so the true devotion to the Virgin Mary, who leads us only to Jesus, can flourish at a time when we so badly need it!!
ReplyDeleteMCS or misioneros de Cristo sacerdote are in Mexico, Parral Chihuahua. Somes are now in Puerto Rico tacking a nes brain wash...
ReplyDeleteDo You Know the MCS are where the last days ?
ReplyDeleteSomething that came to Us from God, Said Jesus "The Man Can't destroyed it.. I Believe in that aparition. I Saw with my own eyes "The Sun Miracle" in Sabana Grande PR ...1991. Maybe you can destroy the Man, but you can't to make the same thing with God ...Only you can understand, that with the Soul eyes.
