Leaving Mass early
Question from Ron on 3/5/2008:

Five-year convert here and it really burns me up when 30-40% of the parish leave the church after receiving Communion. It's sad. Sometimes I feel like blocking the doors and asking them if they have any idea about what just happened.

I don't mean to be judgemental but, yes, it makes me sad and angry at the same time to see this happen. Any advice other than sitting in the front row or closing my eyes?
