If someone was a alcoholic when they got married and the other party knew they were a drinker but didn't know they would not be able to be there in the true sense as a spouse and parent because of their drinking is there reason for annulment in such cases?

Perhaps. Severe alcoholism may prevent a person from being capable of assuming essential marital obligations."
