Wedding attire
Question from bride to be on 6/5/2008:
As I prepare for my wedding what is the Catholic church's teaching on the style of dress the bride/bridesmaid's should wear to be according to church law and be most reverant?
Answer by Rev. Mark J. Gantley, JCL on 6/14/2008:
There are no laws governing the attire for couples getting married or witnesses. Modesty would be the rule, although this is a matter of morality, not canon law.
