Antique Blessed Mother Statue
Question from Cathy M. on 6/12/2008:
We have an antique Blessed Mother statue purchased in the early 1900's. She is holding baby Jesus in front, his arms are outstretched. The unique part of this statue is Mary is wearing a crown with no veil. Baby Jesus is not wearing a crown. Her gown is cream-colored and her mantel is yellow with gold trim. Her hair hangs halfway down the back of the statue. How do we find out what her title is? We've searched the internet with no luck, any information you can provide us is greatly appreciated.
