Purifying the Sacred Vessel

Is the Priest and the Deacon the only ones who can Purify the Sacred Vessels after Mass?

Answer by Rev. Mark J. Gantley, JCL on 10/6/2007:

Any clergy may purify the vessels -- bishops, priests, or deacons. Also, an intalled acolyte may purify the vessels (i.e., a man instituted formally as an acolyte by the bishop). Most installed acolytes are men studying to become priests or deacons.
