I would just like to be enlightened, I am married 8 years ago i a civil ceremony, it was sort of a rush decision for me because I had my girlfriend pregnant.
After 5 years our relationship was not permitting both of us to grow spiritually and emotionally.
Right now I am currently in a relationship and divorce is in process.
I know the moral implications but i want more enlightenment.

Assuming that you are a Catholic, in the eyes of God and his Church, you have never been married.
