Note: St. Paul objects to these prohibitions when they are the outcome of false principles which would regard marriage and certain foods as impure, but he has no objection to abstaining from food and drink when properly understood and based on sound principles. 1 Timothy 4:4-5 - Everything God has created is good, and no food is to be rejected, provided it is received with thanksgiving
