Archbishop José Gomez Will be New Archbishop of Los Angeles
On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, the Vatican announced that San Antonio Archbishop Archbishop José Gomez has been named coadjutor archbishop of Los Angeles, and will succeed Cardinal Roger Mahony upon his retirement next February.
